Kamala Harris Sympathizes with the Pro-Hamas Crew

One doesn’t need to look too hard to find a resolution to the question of whether Harris or Trump is better for the Jews. VP Kamala Harris’s relative inexperience in geopolitical affairs is telling. Her inadequacies in the foreign affairs department are her undoing as a presidential candidate.

A large part of the Jewish community feels unsettled by her constant equivocation of the pro-Hamas contingent of Gaza (80% of the population) continually being compared with the pain and suffering of innocent Israelis who Hamas terrorists savagely slaughtered.

The visceral hatred of the Hamas-loving Gazan population is profoundly dark. That Harris sympathizes with the plight of savages over peace-loving civilians is an instant turnoff to pro-Israel Jewish voters. It is, for all intents and purposes, an anathema.

And then there is the fact that Harris continually mentions the pain and suffering of pro-Hamas Gazans whenever she talks of supporting Israel’s right to defend itself. It’s a nonsensical, counter-intuitive argument. If she is willing to supply Israel with weapons and armaments, then they will be used in the war on terror. That war is currently being waged on multiple fronts, notably in Gaza, South Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and across Iran (via subterfuge and limited, targeted attacks).

Harris’s problem is that she speaks from both sides of her mouth. Is she well-intentioned? Maybe so, but we can’t risk Israel’s survival on a maybe mandate. The Middle East conflict does not allow one to play both sides – it’s like playing chess against yourself. You’re always going to win, and you’re always going to lose. Or you’re never going to win, and you’re never going to lose. Either way, it’s a moot point.

Harris has been exceptionally eager to appease the radical left squad members of her party. Her willingness to consider the opinions of radical Islamists whose sworn goals are the extermination of the Jews places her squarely in the devil’s corner. The road to hell is often paved with good intentions. A president-elect who cannot differentiate between good and evil is not someone to be trusted. That much is true.

One does not defend the devil and criticize the victims of pure evil. As the Jewish national homeland, Israel is going to do whatever needs to be done to secure the country’s borders from all threats. It doesn’t matter whether Trump or Harris is elected; Israel will not be spoken down to. Israel will not allow international pressure to place Israeli civilians and military personnel at risk.

When the Arabs Lay Down Their Weapons, There Will Be Peace

We are constantly reminded of an intractable truth: there will instantly be peace when the Arabs lay down their weapons. But if the Israelis lay down their weapons, the Jews will be annihilated. This is the sad truth about Israel. Kamala Harris has no concept of this reality. She erroneously believes that the Middle East is like the larney areas of Berkeley and Oakland, California, where she grew up. Nothing could be further from the truth. She also does not understand the value systems in Gaza and the West Bank.

There, it’s all about extreme prejudice against Jews, Israel, and the West. Children are raised with blind hatred in their black hearts. They are primed to be murderers, and they will happily sacrifice themselves until all of Israel is purged of Jews. This is the doctrine of radical Islam. It is the most horrifying ideology on the planet. It is evil incarnate. There is no difference between Nazism and Radical Islam.

And candidate for president, Kamala Harris is concerned about the suffering of the hundreds of thousands of pro-Hamas acolytes across Gaza. This is the shameful reality of life under ultra-left Democrats. She touts herself as progressive, trendy, and receptive to novel ways of doing things. But the people she keeps in close counsel have been inciting their hatred of Jews and Israel for eons. There is nothing progressive about antisemitism; it is the most ancient hatred known to man.

Perhaps Kamala Harris can show some leadership and condemn radical Islamist doctrine. That would go a long way toward affirming her support of Israel and the Jewish people. The mere fact that she refuses to label terrorism for what it is – radical Islam – is a clear indicator that she’s unfit to take the reins. The military’s top brass routinely declare that the enemy must be identified first. One needs to acquire a target before cruise missiles are launched or snipers are given the order to take the shot. That enemy is not thin air; it is radical Islam.

Stop The Rot Across The Middle East

Radicalism is pervasive across the Middle East. Millions of certifiable head cases are running amok, wanting to kill Jews and Westerners, detonate explosive devices in public areas, murder, maim, torture, rape, and terrify as many people as they can. This is not an entity you can reason with. This is the same retched ideology as the Taliban in Afghanistan, Boko Haram in Nigeria, the Houthis in Yemen, or the IRGC in Iran. These are the murderous thugs that she is propping up on a pedestal.

This is the problem that Jews and friends of Israel have with Kamala Harris. She has not been forceful enough in condemning radical Islamists. She has not looked at the facts, the polls, the realities on the ground. For all his faults, Trump calls a spade a spade. He understands that you can’t do business with people you don’t trust. Dangerous people. Because they will stab you in the back. Israelis understand this, and they’re not scared to deal with radical Islamists. It’s second nature to them. But the progressive, liberal West is at sea when it comes to dealing with radical Islamism.

For this reason, Trump is most certainly the better candidate on the Jewish issue. There is, of course, talk about Trump’s preference for non-intervention in global affairs, an ostrich policy of American isolationism. Trump has already proven his full support for Israel at the UN, where Nikki Hailey backed Israel 100%.  While American isolationism is undoubtedly dangerous for Israel,  Trump’s foreign policy allows Israel to act without restraint. The lack of such principled, moral support for Israel under Biden/Harris on the global stage has been one of the most crippling failures of the current American administration.
