Lebanon is doing Israel‘s work for them
Israel was about to eliminate Hezbollah, when Iran mixed in and demanded that Lebanon needs to be part of the Iran-US peace deal. This was followed by a peace deal between Israel and Lebanon, in which Lebanon agreed to disarm Hezbollah.
In other words, Lebanon is about to do Israel’s work for them.
It’s fascinating how events are moving. First Israel defeated its enemies, and now Lebanon is about to finish the job.
The same goes for Iran. At this point, the US is insisting that Iran not have any nuclear weapons. If things materialize in this direction, and Iran agrees to this, then the US is finishing the task of eliminating Iran’s nuclear threat.
The same thing seems to have happened in Syria. Instead of Israel needing to deal with a long-existing Syrian threat, a bunch of rebels went in and did the job for Israel. It’s still not clear how friendly and cooperative the new rebel government of Syria will be, but it seems to be a tremendous improvement over the old regime.
There’s a verse in Isaiah (61; 5): “Strangers will rise and shepherd your sheep.” And the Talmud comments that when the Jewish people do what G-d wants, then their work is done by others.
There has been a tremendous resurgence among the Jewish people, both in Israel and across the world. Jews have strengthened their connection to their Jewish identity and to their heritage.
Whether the catalyst has been the October 7 attack, or a rise in antisemitism, or left-wingers abandoning their Jewish compatriots, or other causes, there has been an awakening among the Jewish people towards their religion, towards their G-d and towards each other.
And the Almighty is performing amazing miracles for His people; and, as Isaiah prophesied, their work is being done by others.
It’s an amazing time that we are living in. Perhaps the arrival of the final redemption is very close.
May it happen now.
