Lions
Lots of them. Where do they come from? All over. What do they do? They encircle. What is the danger? That they can attack. And what happens? Nothing.
When Daniel was in the lion’s den, he was miraculously saved from the lions. G-d watched over Daniel.
When Jews were attacked on October 7, the world, at first sympathetic, quickly turned unfriendly. Even those who helped, tried to limit Israel’s efforts to defend themselves. Many countries saw anti-Semitic protests; haters found an excuse to allow their inner hate to pour over, venomously chanting against innocent people, against victims. Haters became lions, as they encircled the Jewish people.
And G-d intervened. Governments clamped down against the antisemitism. Nations (forced to take measures to stop matters from escalating and shaking the world economy and stability) formed a coalition to neutralize Iran’s missile barrage a few months ago. Then, not too long ago, Israel eliminated many of Hezbollah’s long range missiles in a surprise, highly coordinated preemptive strike.
And still the nations encircle, roaring, condemning, trying different ways to apply pressure. But they can’t harm Israel, because G-d watches over His people and doesn’t allow the vicious lions to attack.
In the end the nations will be grateful to Israel for ridding the world of evil. And in the end, all nations will realize that G-d watches over His people.
