Marrying the Higher World with This World

Depending on where you are in the world and counting the Omer, you may be a day forward or a day behind. The energy of the day that I want to talk about is Tiferet of Malchut. There are so many explanations of the Malchut Sefira, and they are all so beautiful. For me it represents being grounded with all of the pieces in place, and connecting you to your crown and to the creator.  When you combine it with Tiferet, love and harmony, I think of Shavuot. The beautiful Jewish holiday where we celebrate receiving the Torah. Rabbi Moshe Levin of Chabad Pico – Bais Bezalel in Los Angeles said that it is marrying the higher world with this world, and the Torah is the purpose of creation. Look at why you are going through something, and find the purpose. Go out of your scenario, turn it around, look at it from a more creative angle. What stood out for me was as story about how God suspends the Earth upon nothing, someone that holds back his mouth, when they are embarrassed and ashamed of being put down and don’t embarrass back, it creates a moment of divine grace and forgives them for all of their sins. For me personally, it is not easy to not react and clearly articulate how I feel. The pause, and redirect is a discipline, and something I am working on in every moment in the ebb and flow of life. When we feel put down, staying quiet brings miracles. Click here to listen to the whole lesson: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1A1iUYojjk/?mibextid=wwXIfr

As I am getting inspired by this powerful message, I see a video by Elaine Chaya on Instagram talking about purpose, while being held up at gunpoint, and knowing that there is a reason that she is in that situation. The messages are all around us, to step outside of ourselves, know that Hashem is with us, and connect to our purpose in this world.

One of my favorite experiences in Jewish culture is always sharing our powerful moments and understanding the miracles that are right in front of our eyes. What we also share is blessings, and wish each other health, happiness, marriage, children, success, joy from our children and peace in the home.

I wish this all for you.
