I am delighted to announce that Alissa Sherman, founder of Matched By Ali, has joined our team for the development of Season Two of The Quest: Get Back Your Ex. Alissa brings a remarkable combination of professional experience, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for helping people navigate the complexities of human relationships.

As a matchmaker, relationship therapist, and mediator, she has dedicated her work to understanding what brings people together, what drives them apart, and what makes lasting relationships possible.

Her addition represents an exciting new chapter in the evolution of The Quest.

From Finding Love to Rediscovering Love

Traditional matchmaking focuses on bringing two people together for the first time. But what happens when two people who once loved each other become separated by disappointment, misunderstanding, betrayal, or the pressures of everyday life?

Can love be rediscovered? Can trust be rebuilt? Can two people who once shared their lives find their way back to each other?

At the heart of The Quest: Get Back Your Ex lies a profound belief in the human capacity to amend, repent, and redeem. Relationships are not always destroyed by the absence of love, but sometimes by mistakes, misunderstandings, pride, and failures of character. Yet the human spirit possesses an extraordinary capacity for transformation. To amend is to acknowledge the wrongs we have committed and take meaningful steps to correct them. To repent is to confront our shortcomings with sincerity and humility. To redeem is to demonstrate, through actions rather than promises, that genuine change is possible. While reconciliation is never guaranteed, the journey toward becoming a better person is itself a form of redemption.

These are the questions at the heart of The Quest: Get Back Your Ex. And they are precisely the kinds of questions that make Alissa’s professional expertise so valuable to our production.

An International Journey

What began as an independent film has developed into a project with international reach.

The Quest: Get Back Your Ex is currently available on Apple TV in the United States, Canada, and Australia, with Spanish- and French-language listings and a Russian-dubbed version extending its international accessibility.

The original film also received praise from entertainment personalities including Roseanne Barr and legendary singer Pat Boone. For me, as the creator and producer, the journey has always been about something greater than entertainment.

It is about exploring the extraordinary complexity of human relationships through the medium of film and television. Love is among the most powerful forces in human existence. It inspires great literature, music, poetry, and cinema. Yet the loss of love can be equally powerful.

The question is whether a relationship that has ended must always remain in the past.

A New Dimension for Season Two

With Alissa joining our team, we have an opportunity to introduce a deeper professional perspective into the series.

Her experience in matchmaking, relationship counseling, and mediation offers an important complement to the emotional storytelling and entertainment that define The Quest. The goal is not simply to bring former couples together for dramatic television moments. It is to explore whether genuine reconciliation is possible, what it requires, and how individuals can distinguish between relationships worth rebuilding and those best left behind.

Sometimes the greatest victory is reconciliation.

Sometimes it is discovering that moving forward is the healthier choice.

Both possibilities are part of the human experience.

Looking Toward the Future

As we develop Season Two, I believe that combining compelling storytelling with professional relationship expertise can help distinguish The Quest in the increasingly competitive world of international reality television.

The addition of Alissa Sherman strengthens our creative team and opens exciting possibilities for the future of the production. Our ambition is to build upon the foundation established by the original film and develop a series capable of reaching audiences across cultures, languages, and continents.

After all, heartbreak knows no national boundaries. Neither does the human desire for love, understanding, and companionship.

I am personally delighted to welcome Alissa to this journey.

Welcome aboard, Alissa Sherman. The Quest continues!
