Munich 2025?

Reports from January 7, 2025, said President-elect “Trump warned ‘all hell will break out’ if Gaza hostages aren’t released before his inauguration.”  The 2025 “deal” negotiated by Biden, Egypt, Qatar and Israel, with Trump’s envoy, Mr. Witkoff, does not mean all hostages will be released on or before January 20, 2025. Once he is inaugurated, will President Trump say all bets are off because not all hostages were released? Will he say we need to see if for the first time in history terrorists will abide by their written word, as ambiguous as it is? Or will President Trump say or do something else, such as announce US aircraft have destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities?

Releasing terrorists, including murderers, as part of this “deal” is no different from Neville Chamberlain appeasing Hitler by giving him the Sudetenland in Munich, 1938. Munich bought Germany another year and a half to prepare for Germany’s invasion of Poland. Before the joint German-Soviet invasion of Poland, Hitler harassed Jews in Germany by restricting what they could own and do, by limiting what they could buy and eat, and by imprisoning many. The Holocaust and its mass murder and theft of life and wealth got going outside Germany when Hitler expanded the territories Germany controlled to the north, east, south, and west.

Will the Gaza cease-fire and hostage release “deal” give Hamas time to regroup and rearm, and then with their Islamo-Nazi allies, force a “two-state” something on Israel? Or will the Gaza “deal” give Israel time to regroup and figure out how to eradicate Hamas and Iran’s nuclear infrastructure once and for all? How will Israel eliminate the risk of another October 7 coming from Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Egypt, Jordan, or Lebanon? The Islamo-Nazi terrorists can create another October 7 existential crisis for Israel by kidnapping Israelis from any of those bases.

Israel lost more than 840 soldiers in the Gaza war. Their lives will not have been lost in vain if Israel prevails in its tactics and strategy regarding Islamo-Nazi terrorists wherever they are, including in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan, Egypt, and Iran. That brings us to the Iran question. Iran took steps to assassinate Trump and Netanyahu. “Assassinate” is a sanitized word for “kill” or “murder”. What will President Trump do with that Hitlerite regime in Tehran? Trump is not Neville Chamberlain.

Victory is rarely overnight – maybe in six days of war against armies of countries, but not against terrorists who use IEDs and hit and run tactics while hiding behind civilians, propagandists, and proxies. Israel knows the terrorists it would release in this “deal” will likely include many Sinwar clones. Israel also knows that the resources available to Israel under a Trump Administration will be very different from what Biden and Blinken allowed, which was for Israel to fight with two hands and two legs shackled.

Hamas has already regrouped by extorting its Gaza population with limits on food and other relief supplies unless Gaza’s teen males joined Hamas for terror training and soldiering. Israel must take over distribution of all “humanitarian” aid and if need be, must siege Gaza with limited supplies. Gaza can be divided into City-States where Gazans can live and do their thing inside a confined area so as not to threaten Israel.

Gaza must be annexed into Israel for one simple reason: Dead Israelis and body parts of dead Israelis are inside Gaza. Hamas will never release all of them to Israel most likely because Hamas does not know where they all are. Those dead Israelis and their body parts must be buried in Israel. There is no better way to achieve that outcome than annexing all of Gaza into Israel. The non-Israeli Gazans can govern themselves in their City-States, subject always to Israeli military control.

US Democrats and Left-wing Israelis will scream if this “deal” fails, although after October 7, 2023, the number of people in the Israeli left has likely dwindled, and dwindled substantially. Those that remain, like the left in the US, including too many Democrats and Jewish Democrats, can choose to help the non-Israeli Gazans all they want, without those Gazans ever again being allowed to enter Israel. The Israeli peaceniks that remain can relocate to Gaza’s City-States and see how that works out.

October 7, 2023, happened more than 15 months ago, and some of us believe that had President Trump been in office on October 7, those 15 months would have been a far shorter period of agony for the hostages and their families. President Trump’s legacy is in the spotlight at the outset of his Presidential term #2, and either all the hostages will be released to Israel, and soon, or Israel will re-evaluate its strategy and tactics and resume the war with no holds barred.

We don’t know the non-public elements of this “deal,” including whether Iran’s nuclear facilities or the Houthis will be eradicated, when, and by whom. We don’t know if Egypt will resume turning a blind baksheesh eye to arms and missile supplies from Sinai entering Gaza. We don’t know if Jordan will be destabilized by Iran or how quickly, or if Judea and Samaria will explode into Intifada Number Whatever.

What we do know is who the Jew-haters are. They have revealed themselves quite clearly in countless articles and websites since October 7. Israel has a short window once President Trump assumes office to move heaven and earth to free all hostages, to destroy Hamas, to annex Gaza, to create non-Israeli City-States in Gaza, to move the Gaza rubble into breakwaters for new Israeli southern port facilities, to create pipelines from Saudi Arabia to Europe through Israel, to annex Judea and Samaria, and to create City-States in Judea and Samaria.

These are Biblical events that are necessary to preserve the State of Israel and to protect the lives and livelihoods of all Israelis no matter their religion, ethnicity, race or anything else. The Abraham Accords will expand and bring peace and prosperity to what we hope is a region formerly in perpetual conflict. We may even see Iran rename itself “Persia” and in so doing remove the last remaining vestiges of why Persia took that name. The last country that called itself an “Aryan” nation did not fare so well. Like the Aryans from 1933-1945, Persia will not have an empire. Neither will Turkey, even if Erdogan seeks a new Ottoman Empire. The territories of the last Persian Empire and last Ottoman Empire are otherwise engaged.

Am Yisroel Chai.
