My Endorsement of Netanyahu for Prime Minister

My name is David Weissman, and I am a US Army veteran and dual citizen of Israel. I have written for a variety of publications across the political spectrum, and I am proud to endorse Israel’s Prime Minister, Bibi Netanyahu, for the upcoming Prime Ministerial elections.

My opinions about Prime Minister Netanyahu have evolved. Much like my own views on my President, Donald Trump, have changed over the years, I have seen Netanyahu’s leadership after Hamas’s brutal terror attacks on October 7th as nothing short of impressive.

Bibi Netanyahu has courage like no other, not caving in to peer pressure from the world that is ignorant of the Israeli Arab conflict. Netanyahu’s leadership is what the state of Israel needs right now to keep the people safe. His experience serving in the Israeli Defense Forces continues to guide him in making the right decisions during this time of war.

The rise of antisemitism around the world is accelerating, and Netanyahu is doing everything he can to make Israel a safe place to live for Jews. Is Netanyahu perfect? Of course not. Only G-d is, but Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu is what Israel needs right now to keep Israel safe.
