Netanyahu slanders Israelis for Ro Khanna
When the Prime Minister and the IDF throw innocent Israelis under the bus in the ill-considered attempt to appease an open enemy, is it any wonder that Israel has a PR problem?

Ro Khanna, a Democrat Representative from California, of all places, who calls Gaza a “genocide” visited Israel. He went on a tour into a CLOSED MILITARY ZONE. The police admit in the article that he was in a CLOSED MILITARY ZONE. They even warned the tour guide that he MIGHT be arrested next time, because he has habitually gone into CLOSED MILITARY ZONES (apparently with no arrests).
Civilians stopped him. Civilians who had M4s, according to the article and as shown in the pictures. Civilians CAN’T get licensed for a private M4. Handguns, yes, machine guns, no. That means that guy was on an official duty, either in miluim (reserve duty) or as part of community security units. The civilians called the army and someone called the police, but no one arrested the civilians because THEY HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG.
But Democrat’s gonna Democrat. What’s important, and what is being missed, is what Netanyahu did.
Netanyahu – instead of telling Ro Khanna where to go and what to do when he got there – told NBC, “There are juvenile delinquents” and “vigilantes” amongst the settlers. He never mentioned the closed military zone; the legality of going in there; the appropriateness of civilians, or civilian guards stopping them; or the army’s relationship with the local civilians. Now the international media has the Prime Minister on record agreeing that settler thugs illegally stopped a U.S. Congressman AND the IDF helps the settler thugs, because the whole country is corrupt. You can’t call NBC or Ro Khanna antisemitic, because the Israeli Prime Minister is saying it.
Netanyahu jumped to condemn the “bad” Jews, so he could curry favor with the international community. Except it didn’t work and it doesn’t work. When they’re out for blood, throwing out a sacrifice only makes them hungrier.
