Obama is in!
The truth is he never left.
He moved to a $5.8 million dollar house two miles from Trump where he runs his “White House in Exile”. To Democrats, Obama is “President for Life” and everything he says is like honey.
The record shows that Obama left a legacy of failure: Benghazi, Solyndra, Obamacare, Cash for Clunkers, GM bailout, Iran Deal, IRS targeting, NSA domestic spying, etc., but to hear the Fake News tell it he was Mr. Rogers, Einstein and Superman all rolled up into one.
The only things Obama succeeded in accomplishing were the increasing racial and class divisions, enriching himself and getting a Nobel Peace Prize in his first year in office when he hadn’t done anything besides get elected. (That didn’t stop the Nobel Committee. It decided to award it to him “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.” The man that won in 2008 put in decades of effort on behalf of peace.)
Oh, and Obama apparently directed federal agencies to investigate the incoming administration for “Russia” ties.
Now, he has weighed in on the George Floyd homicide
“This shouldn’t be ‘normal’ in 2020 America” he tweeted.
His message contained a routine Obama rhetorical device. Set up Straw Man, knock it down. No one in their right mind thinks the Floyd tragedy is normal. The investigation into his death is ongoing but it appeared that the officer had a history of disciplinary problems. It is unknown if his past wrongful behavior was racially motivated or if he is just a sadist.
Democrats have been pushing the buzzword “normal” (as in “Trump is not normal”) since Trump won the election. Hillary likes to use it, Michelle, even her daughter, Malia have used it. The Dems even got dozens of shrinks to sign a NYTimes ad saying Trump’s acts were “not normal”.
Obama will best remembered for “You didn’t build that!” (or “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor!” It’s a toss-up).
How about if he says “You didn’t pay for that! Put it back!?’
Not holding my breath.
