One day the world woke up

It was a regular day. The sun shined, the breeze blew, the trees danced, the waters of the rivers flowed, and children played.

And on that day, the world woke up.

Because everyone had been sleeping. For days, for years, for centuries.

What’s it like to wake up, after such a long time sleeping?

It’s like nothing had changed, but everything was different.

The air was different.

There was a oneness. In everything.

It was like something had been there all along, but we were sleeping, so we didn’t realize.

And when we woke up, we heard it.

“Shema Yisroel – listen Israel, G-d our G-d, G-d is One.”

And as we looked around, we realized, that He had been here all along.
