One Israel and One America: New Political Parties
While living in Israel for six years, I notice there are many political parties and political movements based in Israel, whereas in the United States, the political scene is dominated by Republicans and Democrats. In the US, both Fox News and CNN tend to be binary by focusing on the divisions between conservative vs. progressive, left vs. right, hawks vs. doves, and right wing vs. left wing.
I strongly believe there needs to be more diversity, inclusion, and choice in the political spectrum of the United States.
Recently, I created and launched two new political parties: a party for Israel and a party for America. Since I am both Israeli and American, it is logical and natural for me to create a party of each of my countries.
ONE ISRAEL
First, I formed the One Israel party (Israel Ahat). It is a center-right political party that is inspired by Revisionist Zionist leader Zeev Jabotinsky. It is also inspired by Israeli national hero Joseph Trumpeldor. One Israel is a combination of both Likud and Labor (Avoda).
I invite the following Israeli leaders to join the One Israel party list: Former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, Former IDF legal unit head Judge Menachem Finkelstein, singer Yehudit Ravitz, singer Omer Adam, singer Eyal Golan, singer Sarit Hadad, comedian Orna Banai, journalist Ilana Dayan, Benny Begin, Dan Meridor, Noa Ben Artzi Rothman (granddaughter of Yitzhak Rabin), Rabbi Dov Begon of Machon Meir yeshiva, Rabbi Menachem Listman of Machon Meir yeshiva, and conservative journalist Caroline Glick.
In 1999, Ehud Barack formed a political movement also called “One Israel”. My new political party is a new imagining of the “One Israel” concept. Our new One Israel focuses on providing housing for homeless Israelis, improving Israel’s economy, strengthening Israel’s security by investing in military research and development, improving secular-religious relations, and improving relations with the United States, European Union, Arab countries, Russia, China, and other western countries. One Israel will work with all segments of Israeli society to combat the Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic.
One Israel also proposes the creation of the Israeli Ministry on Women’s Rights to protect and strengthen the rights of women and girls. We propose former Likud leader, Limor Livnat, as the cabinet minister of the new women’s rights ministry.

ONE AMERICA
Furthermore, I formed the One America party. It is a centrist party that combines elements from both the Democratic party and Republican party. The central theme of the party is “strength through unity”. We seek to bring together Americans from diverse backgrounds and orientations based on the historic American principle: E Pluribus Unum (Many Become One).
The One America party is a pro-Israel party that seeks to strengthen Israeli security and maintain Israel’s military advantage while improving Israel’s relations with the Arab world.
This new American political party was inspired in part by my studies of activist and reality star, Kim Kardashian West. Kardashian’s work has focused on alleviating poverty and criminal justice reform.
Rather than putting more Americans in prisons and jails, One America seeks to invest in education, health care for all, building housing for homeless Americans, drug rehabilitation, investing in small businesses, improving the relationship between police and people of color, bringing more diversity to high tech and social media corporations, and empowering women and girls.
From 1997 through 1999, I was special assistant and pardon assistant to Governor Pete Wilson of California who is a Republican. Afterwards, for six months I was public affairs intern for United States Senator Barbara Boxer of California who is a Democrat. Therefore, I have extensive experience working with both major American political parties. I understand both the left wing and the right wing.
The One America party combines the best aspects of both President George W. Bush and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). We are both pro-business and pro-investment while focusing on progressive values such as empowering impoverished communities and working classes and strengthening struggling families.
CONCLUSION & VISION
Since I served honorably in both the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the United States Army, I am intrinsically an honorary ambassador between the United States and the State of Israel. I am part of a ‘Third Culture’ that blends both Israeli identity and American identity. Although I am no longer on active duty, I still consider myself a soldier for peace and security.
I encourage my fellow Israelis to support and join the new One Israel party. I encourage my fellow Americans to support and join the new One America party. By standing together, we can bring peace, security, and prosperity to both the United States and the State of Israel.
