You are a leading edge of media. Yet, despite some of your most experienced and expert guests who have tried diligently to educate you, a number of your hosts are still, inadvertently, fogging up any glimpse of the reality of the Muslim terrorism threat by insisting that this enemy is “Radical” Islam.

Reality Check

1. If it is “Radical” Islam that is unacceptable, then Egyptian Pres. al-Sisi’s stand is the norm within the Muslim world?

• But Pres. al-Sisi’s stand goes wildly and bravely against the current in the Muslim world.

This proves (reductio ad absurdum) that Muslim terrorism is not “Radical” Islam; Muslim terrorism is normative Islam Jihad!

It is a moderate, modern Islam described by Egyptian Pres. al-Sisi that goes against the majority – normative – Muslim current. It is a moderate, modern interpretation that is non-normative – “radical” – in the greater Islamic world; and you – non-Muslim western Christians (or even the tiny, atypical, western Muslims) – are no one to define what is normative or radical Islam (or Judaism, for that matter) and presume to impose your definitions upon the greater Muslim world a redefinition of what is normative and what is radical Islam!

Look outside your detached and insulated American sequestration and listen to the greater Islamic world to determine what is normative Islam. Then deal with the real world (like Israel has to do) instead of the delusion of remolding it to fit the liberalist (!) wishful thinking of your environment. Apparently, it’s contagious.

Denial: Still In First Stage (of 5) of Tragedy

And this is vital to recognize because, while you, a leading edge of American media, are still stuck in denial, when you finally get past that there are still 4 more stages of tragedy (anger, bargaining, depression and, finally, acceptance of the reality we are facing) that the world, especially Israel, must suffer through before we can even begin to discuss and formulate an effective remedy. And how long after, if you get it, will the public get it?

Any solution depends absolutely on this because, while, in your detached and insulated American world, you – non-Muslims – label the tiny, exceptional, western Muslim minority of the far greater Muslim world “normative” because that is what you would like to believe (read “wishful thinking” or delusional), there are billions of Muslims from Africa throughout the Middle East who define true normative Islam – and it is they who are the real normative Islam whom you – non-Muslims – are trying to define as “Radical.”

Radical Islam is Saudi Wahhabism and the like – which Americans have defined as “allies” in your “War On Terror”!!!

The facts are that you haven’t yet recognized who is your enemy. Hopefully, you’re getting over it – but you’re still in denial.

The Significance Of Egyptian Pres. al-Sisi & Lassana Bathily

Egypt is seen by most Muslim Arabs as the prime force in the Arab world. Consequently, Egyptian Pres. al-Sisi’s vision carries enormous weight in the Arab and Muslim world. Pres. al-Sisi seems to have realized the vision I’ve been publishing for decades, and has courageously spoken out against the prevailing majority – normative – current in today’s world of Islam. His speech and actions so far against normative Islam deserve acclaim and meaningful support (whereas most of the media, unable to parse his direction into the framework of their wrong-headed misconceptions, have chosen to ignore him). Yet, his direction has the most potential for changing the game that is currently on the board.

The lesson of the Muslim hero at the Paris Hyper Cacher (Kasheir) market versus most Muslims – in the “no go” zones – in France is that the moderate Muslim hero, Lassana Bathily, who saved 6 hostages from death, is, like Pres. al-Sisi, the courageous exception – not today’s normative Islam. These two moderate Muslims, far from being normative, are now under threat of death from normative Muslims!

So why is this distinction so vital and imperative?

Because neither Islam, Christianity nor Judaism are the problem!

The three so-called “Abrahamic Faiths” are merely differences of religious opinion among mortals whose intellects – yeah, even yours, mine, Einstein’s, the pope’s, ayatollahs’, the most eminent rabbis of the ages or whomever’s – compared to the Creator-Singularity, are only marginally above the chimpanzees. Recognizing that, and the consequent limitations of human science and interpretation, is an intrinsic and unavoidable point in the road to the solution. Pointing the finger at the wrong end of Islam misdirects from seeing the true enemy: the evil of Dark Ages human religious interpretations of ancient writings combined with idolatrous enslavement (“submission” – the meaning of the Arabic term “Islam”) to clerics presuming to speak for the Almighty instead of instructing people toward direct service of the Creator-Singularity interpreted and assessed according to His Laws – logic and science that He Authored to govern His Creation.

And while Islam is currently the most evil and pernicious strain, the tendency toward Dark Ages religion is no less a threat to Jews and Christians.

The True Evil

I’ll try to state it as clearly and succinctly as I can: The real engine that is driving the destructive evil of terrorism in today’s world are the “Dark Ages” clerics (Islamic, Christian, Jewish and any others) who perniciously substitute their own “Dark Ages” interpretations displacing the Words of the Almighty in order to idolatrously pervert submission (Arabic: Islam) to themselves instead of to the Creator-Singularity as interpreted according to His Inerrant – never self-​contradicting – Laws (logic and science).

Then the solution is conspicuous

Because the “Dark Ages” religious interpretations of mortal clerics, idolatrously supplanting the ancient accumulated corpus of knowledge (namely, Scripture) of the Creator-Singularity (whatever the religion or denomination), combined with the idolatrous enslavement by these “Dark Ages” mortal clerics to themselves instead of to the Creator-Singularity, are the engine driving religious terror (in the Jewish and Christian worlds too); it is the “Dark Ages” clerics we must reject – and those “Dark Ages” clerics who insist on imposing their rule we must eradicate.

Displacing (overriding or logically contradicting) the Scripture of the Creator-Singularity with mortal interpretation is presumptuously elevating one’s own authority and self “beside” – as a peer or, even more blasphemously, superior of – the Almighty (see Dan. 7.25 where the original Aramaic reads ומלין לצד עליא ימלל (meaning: And words as if a peer of the Almighty shall he declare). The ultimate idolatry.

Serving the Creator-Singularity as interpreted according to His Inerrant – never self-​contradicting – Laws (logic and science) instead of idolatry offers the potential of a far more enlightened world (Yemenite Dar Daim, Rambam, Ribi Yᵊhoshua and Hileil) – who can share a common vision of logic and science in a shared quest to better know the Creator-Singularity and interpret and assess ancient Scripture (see the three icons at the bottom of our opening screen at www.netzarim.co.il).
