Our Fragile World Awaits Better Times
And, our fragile world awaits better times,
When dissension, division, delusion,
Disappear, and, history writes new lines,
Far from separation and seclusion.
All humanity will again then thrive;
And no existential threats will arise.
When the madness of evil is deprived
Of ruthless indoctrination, memorized.
When academic freedom brings to light,
Student dialogue, again, in plain sight;
And, time-honoured values of search for
truth.
Set aside the hysterical mob’s chants,
uncouth.
Civilization will be kept secure,
Only, if, honesty confronts funds which lure.
