In this week’s Parsha we read that Hashem commands Moshe Rabbeinu to count how many Jews there were in the desert.

This is the 2nd time in the Torah that Hashem commands Moshe to do so. The first time was in Parshas Ki Sisa in Chumash Shemos. Each time He request this it is because Hashem is showing how much each and every person in Klal Yisroel means so much to Him.

In life at times it is very hard to remember that Hashem loves us and cares for us more than we can ever imagine. That is why Emuna and Bitachon are so important.

Emuna is the knowledge that Hashem is always with us and Bitachon is trusting him to take care of us. May we take this message close to our hearts.
