Peace
The Gaza experiment proved, that giving away land will not bring peace.
The past three years proved, that the way to achieve peace, is 1) by not giving away land, and 2) by mobilizing and showing you are ready to attack if necessary.
The way to bring peace, is to render vicious enemies like Iran and its proxies unable to threaten you.
The way to achieve peace, is that even when the world screams at you, you forge ahead.
Because when it comes to the right to defend yourself, all nations would do so themselves if they were attacked, yet they tell Israel to turn the other cheek.
The way to achieve peace, is by being a realist, and not living in a dream world.
Israel has become wiser. Israel has become pragmatic. And Israel is becoming much safer.
Many years ago, the Lubavitcher Rebbe warned Israel that giving away territories was dangerous. He quoted Jewish law which warned that doing so can open up the land to the enemy.
October 7 showed, that the Rebbe was correct.
As Israel prepares to vote, we can take comfort in knowing that it’s a new Israel, an Israel that recognizes the danger of giving away land. An Israel that realizes, that when there is a threat of attack, the country must mobilize. And the mobilization itself, can frighten the enemy.
There is a way to achieve peace. And Israel now knows the way.
