In loving memory of our friend and neighbor

                                               Dr. Robert Levine,

                                                Pinchas ben Yosef z”l

                                                        A Long Time member of

                                                           Young Israel of Brookline Ma.

                                           “Pinchas’s song”

The birds sing

The sun shines

And all of the music and Tefillah תְּפִלָּה from our heart and souls

orchestrates the creator’s world with praise, peace , joy, love ,happiness and comfort

Honoring the creator of the world and showcasing  his glory both in heaven and on earth!

May our collective and individual songs and heartfelt prayers continue shine in our lives and on our journey through our daily living and our actions.

No matter how long or hard the struggle still is both individually and collectively

Let all of  us keep on walking in divine faith in trust in the Holy one with complete faith and emunah.

May our sincere daily prayers of song and worship and praise continue to pierce the heavens so that it can reach the one up above

who wil be motivated to answer all of  our prayers speedley and quickly with the truth of his salvation forever more.

May the Melech of the Olam continue to hold all of his children in his loving arms both on earth and in שָׁמַיִם Shamayim and in all of his Celestial worlds!

Just like our friend and brother Pinchas who is with Hashem now and forever!

This is Pinchas Song and life and amazing legacy!

               May his life continue to

Inspire all of us to keep on singing and performing our daily takes

              with Joy and שִׂמְחָה

And to pursue our goals to the best of our abilities each day with Hashem’s help

so we can rise above any circumstance of pain and sorrow here in the physical   world

and turn it into a beautiful melody and song and prayer to the Almighty!

Some people roam around in life not knowing which                                                                    path is the one of joy and true peace without it                                                                                       being there fault or having any one to lead them to the truth

And some people race through life

without knowing when to slow down and they wake up one day and realize that their whole life has gone by without them ever knowing the truth about their existence and what their live was really all about

And Tragically, there are  some very unfortunate souls that choose the incorrect path in life were they will continue to stagnate and harm not only themselves but many others along the way which in the end will only lead to more darkness destruction and pain and suffering.

And in these extreme cases these lost souls might never find there way out of the  abyss they created by their own free will which was made up of mud and darkness and ill intentions which is the saddest misfortune of all.

But for the children of G-d throughout the world  who declared him as their G-d and Melech!

These children of his , will continue to bravely and honestly take the next step of their lives silently and modestly and continue to live with every breath they take here on earth and in each of  their footsteps they take of their own chosen path to make the almighty proud and love them more each day.

These beloved children of G-d  will stick to this way of life with their serious  faith, earnestness and devotion year after year and decade after decade to inspire all of those around them to grow and reach for their greatest potential so that they to can  also  experience and to know the true meaning of peace, freedom and joy in their hearts, minds and souls  by following the ways of their fathers and mothers and of the creator of the world.

These men and women from all faiths and creeds young and old will continue do this diligently and silently day after day and year after year despite carrying  great burdens no human being should ever carry and yet they will  do this with joy, and hope and inspiration every day and every year of their lives because they believe in the almighty and his promises.

This Is Pinchas Song

And the Chorus of his beloved community ,circles of friends and family and Colleagues!

His way and ours now is to continue to take the same baby steps each day and to keep on walking in humility and courage and faith knowing everything we do has meaning and purpose even if no one validates our efforts and it appears to be all in vain.

This is Pinchas Song and the way he lived his life and the way so many of us do each day by following the same path as we all were taught when we were little in Hebrew school or discovered along our own lifes journey.

With his example now in front of us let us all continue to show up for life day after day and year after year despite the darkness, the pain and loneliness and all of the injustices of the world like he did with joy and song in our hearts  until we all reach our final destination and home with peace and rest of the creator of the world both on earth and in heaven.

Let Pinchas song/  life /and legacy inspire all of the us and the world to do as he did!

And let our heartfelt prayers and actions continue to reach the Almighty’s kingdom in heaven speedly and quickly and may all of the Almighty’s  great plans of completion for the world and for Khal Israel and all of his children of the world come to fruition soon when we can all have everlasting peace and joy and happiness forever and ever!

Amen!

May your name be blessing to all who knew you!

May the Divine comfort you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem

HaMakom y’nachem etkhem b’tokh sh’ar a’vaylay Tzion v’Y’rushalayim!

And may your name be among those who mourn Zion

About the Author
Shalom! My name is Chavivah "הדסה " bat Chaya Faiga Zeltzer. I am a multi-disciplinary artist and writer and former Judaic teacher in the community where I live. I has been published locally on JewishBoston.com JewishBoston.com is the digital community hub and central resource for Greater Boston's Jewish community, run by Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), the local Jewish Federation. [1] I have authored several articles for this publication, including "Together for Mental Health" and "Sharing my story, Hoping for change", " Yom Kippur Lesson 9/28/2008" / Revised 2026/5786" "A Personal Statement of Gratitude and Faith", "Broken Record": A poem, just to name a few. Refuat Hanefesh: I was a contributing author for this Jewish online organization dedicated to creating a Jewish community that is more aware and empathetic toward mental health recovery especially during the Pandemic. My goal as a artist and a advocate has been to support all of the Jewish people to view mental health , mental illness, and types of addiction as a trauma response directly related to all of our intergenerational trauma. My hope has always been share my story with all of my sisters and brothers of the Jewish faith as a way to empower, support and encourage all of us to do our best by working hard to forgive ourselves and love ourselves and be kind to ourselves so we can serve Hashem with joy and happiness they way he wants us to. Only Hashem is perfect and we are human. My prayer has always been to work along side all of my Jewish family and the Jewish communities from all sectors of our faith so we can continue to use all of our gifts and talents that Hashem gave us, and that each one of us possesses as "One " "אֶחָד" !!! This way each and everyone of the Jewish people will be able to serve Hashem now and forevermore only with joy and happiness and no more suffering. May the Melech Halom "The King of the world "and our "Father in Heaven" have Rachmonus "Mercy and compassion" on us on all the Jewish peoples collective suffering as one and may he look down from Heaven favorably and accept all of our heartfelt prayers for good only. Artist Spotlight: A local nonprofit arts organization in the state I live called "Open Door Arts " spotlighted some of my work from my artist portfolio that covers some of my collections of fine art, graphic art, and my award-winningˌ short film documentry called a " A Reynah in Exile" also known as Hidden in Plain Site. I was inspired to use a allegoric style of filmmaking as the motif and backdrop for my short film that is taken by one of my favorite prayers found in the Siddur "The Jewish Prayer book" called "Shir Hashirim " שִׁיר הַשִּׁירִים" This is one of our Tefillot we say on.שַׁבָּת "Shaboos Kodesh " which can be found in our Friday night prayers service in our Siddur.
