It’s not an exaggeration to say that the Democratic primary victory of Zohran Mamdani, an avowed Socialist and closet anti-Semite is a day of mourning for most New York Jews. They have been faced with the fact that their neighbors, maybe even their children proudly, without shame or reservation have vocalized their hatred Jews at the ballot box.

It should have been foreseeable.

A vote for Biden eventually got a Hamas-loving, “Globalize the Intifada,” “Defund the Police”, “Arrest Netanyahu” Mamdani. It was just a matter of time.

Biden voters were willing to overlook his feebleness, self-dealing and lies. The video of him at the Council on Foreign Relations boasting that he threatened a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating his son played over and over and they still chose him.

They had the templates of spiraling Chicago, burning Los Angeles and they voted for him.

To Mamdani followers power was everything and power meant getting access to the city’s ATM.

Think mainstream Democrats have buyer’s remorse?

Think again.

“Today, voters made their voices heard, demanding a more affordable, more livable New York City. I hear them loud and clear. Zohran Mamdani built a formidable grassroots coalition, and I look forward to speaking with him in the days ahead about his ideas on how to ensure a safe, affordable, and livable New York City.” Governor Kathy Hochul (NY).

What Democrats fail to realize is that their Replacement Theory has worked all too well. They replaced themselves with recently arrived immigrants from despotic, totalitarian, militant, theocratic countries.

The catastrophe that is Mamdani can only be compared to the Sorceror’s Apprentice segment of Disney’s Fantasia.

Mickey Mouse “borrows” the Sorceror’s hat and magically empowers a broom to do his laborious work but the broom multiples and multiples and becomes the mindless master, nearly drowning Mickey until the Sorceror returns and Moses-like splits the waters and saves Mickey.

Mamdani, with his twisted head, shifting accents, smirking smile is the anthropomorphized broom.

New York City needs a rescuer but the Sorceror has left the building.
