Pro-Palestine Crowd Condemns Murder of Jews SATIRE

In a highly predictable heartfelt wave of support, concern and love, various pro-Palestine organizations and persons all over the world unequivocally condemned last week’s cold-blooded murder of a Jewish and Christian citizen in the US.1 Members of the TENTifada revolution on elite college campuses were seen crawling out of their tents and unmasking their faces, preferring to wear their keffiyes the way Palestinians actually wear them, declaring their commitment to life over death.

The keffiye-wearing members of Congress spoke out, very intentionally dissociating their pro-Palestine values from terrorism. “The murder of Jews is in no way tolerable nor does it bring us any closer to our stated goal of protecting Palestinian peoplehood.”

“Peace is a two-way street which involves both Palestinians and Jews. This New York murderer in no way represents our values and has further embarrassed and undermined the pro-Palestine movement.”

Numerous pro-Palestine organizations spoke out in order to clarify that “by any means necessary” does not include murdering Jews. Additionally, Middle Eastern and Ethnic Studies professors took time out of their day to reiterate that of course they would not be celebrating this most recent atrocity in the name of Gaza. They reflectively stated that Palestine was no closer to being “free.”

Furthermore, a sea of social media posts could be seen condemning the latest tragedy, authored by people who frequently fill their media pages with messages of solidarity with Palestinians.

At a crucial time in history, the pro-Palestinian movement made clear its peaceful, progressive dedication to Palestinian self-determination, rather than Jewish extermination, which had not previously been clear.
