Pro-Palestinian Rallies

The news is replete with marches, rallies and protests all over the world that are described as “pro-Palestinian”. These gatherings attract tens of thousands of people. Like most gatherings, they have signs and banners for all to see. Sometimes, they project images on buildings. These signs, banners and projections, as well as the speakers addressing these gatherings, oftentimes pronounce “Free Palestine from the River to the Sea” or “Glory to our Martyrs” or “By Any Means Necessary” or “Martyrs, Resistance, Return” or “Resistance Until Liberation and Return” or, just “Hamas”. These gatherings that promote such slogans are not “pro-Palestinian”. Rather, they are pro-Hamas. These slogans call for the annihilation of the State of Israel. They call for the death of Israel’s Jewish inhabitants. They call for a new Holocaust of Jews. They are not a call for a two-state solution. They are not a call for peace. They are not a call for co-existence.

Let’s call them what they are: Pro-Hamas Rallies and all that is attendant to that.
