Scholarship Fund Launches Online Drive to Raise R$53.6M, Mobilizes Community
The Scholarship Fund of the Jewish Community of São Paulo launched its annual fundraising campaign on Monday, August 24. This year’s goal is to raise R$ 53.6 million, the amount needed to ensure the continuation of scholarships for 865 children and young people, covering school tuition, enrollment fees, and meals.
The online campaign runs until August 31 at 8 p.m., with a major mobilization scheduled for August 30 and 31. Around 500 volunteers will gather at the Marc Chagall Hall at Hebraica to engage with the community and expand participation in the campaign.
The program begins on Saturday, August 29, at 7:30 p.m., with a Harkadá at Hebraica, organized by Yala Yesh, CIP, and Hebraica, in support of the Scholarship Fund. On Sunday, August 30, starting at 10 a.m., the club will host family-friendly activities, including keychain and charm workshops, running until 6 p.m.
Throughout the two days of mobilization, volunteers will make calls to present the campaign, emphasize the importance of donations, and invite more people to contribute. Raffles will also be held to recognize volunteer efforts.
Official calls from the Scholarship Fund will be made through the numbers +55 11 3164-0510 and +55 11 3164-0511.
The mobilization concludes on Monday, August 31, at 8 p.m., marking the end of the campaign. In addition to donations, the community is encouraged to participate by sharing the initiative, joining weekend activities, and volunteering.
With a target of R$ 53.6 million, the campaign aims to mobilize the community to ensure that the 865 students supported by the Scholarship Fund can continue their education.
