You know, where were the US and France and all of these countries – Australia, Canada, the European Union, Germany, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar – the past year when Hezbollah was bombarding northern Israel with rockets, missiles and drones, causing 80K Israelis to evacuate their homes for a year, murdering Israelis including 12 Druze Muslim children, causing hundreds of thousands of miles of devastating forest fires? Saying NOTHING. The media? Saying NOTHING.

But now that Israel is fighting back against Hezbollah for like what, 5 fricking minutes and WINNING – now they all want it to stop on a dime. Yes, let’s give Hezbollah time to rally and destroy more people and land in Israel.

Hamas hasn’t agreed to a ceasefire in 10 months, hasn’t surrendered the innocent civilian hostages they kidnapped and raped and tortured, Hezbollah hasn’t stopped for one second, nor have the Houthis – all Iran’s Islamic Regime’s proxies. So what bribe will these great countries, particularly those in the West –  who have all sat idly by and allowed antisemitic abuse and violence to rise to 1930’s Nazi Germany levels in their own streets – pay our enemy to simmer down for 3 weeks?

Oh, I get it. They’ve let young Israeli men and women do their dirty work, lose their lives and limbs, fight their fight all year – while they get to sit back and pluck their teensy tiny violins about the fate of the people who endorsed terrorists for nearly two decades. Why DIDN’T any of these diplomatic genius countries step into Gaza to rescue their own country’s hostages from Hamas?

The US was at war in Afghanistan for roughly the same time that Hamas was in power in Gaza. And for what? The Taliban won. The lives of women and girls there now is absolutely horrific, terrifying. But their lives don’t matter. Why shouldn’t a 3 year old Afghan girl be married off? We abandoned them.

Jewish lives don’t matter. Women and girls’ lives outside of the US don’t matter. (They barely matter here.) Allyship is a one way street. That’s where we’re at today.

I think Biden and Harris have calculated Dems won’t win if there’s a full blown regional war in the Middle East. If we have to get more involved. If American soldiers have to die. Just like our budget and our deficit, our politicians will kick the can down the road a bit more.

21 days doesn’t even get us to the anniversary on the Hebrew calendar of the Hamas massacre – which occurred on the morning of Simchat Torah, which falls this year on October 24th. It doesn’t even get us to Sukkot. You can’t build a sukkah in a bomb shelter.

What unbelievable disregard and disrespect. They should have at the very least constructed a proposal for a 28 day ceasefire.

That’s also how I know that none of these countries’ leaders, including ours, give a fig about Israelis or the Jewish people. Israel should do what’s best for Israelis.
