Sid Rosenberg, a Conservative Jewish-American Radio Host and Defender of Israel

Over the past few years, I have had the great opportunity of both meeting and befriending Sid Rosenberg, a fearless defender of the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel. Whether it be at Rallies, city hall demonstrations against antisemitism with community leaders, Israel Galas and Events that unite likeminded Israel advocates or even the lighting of the World’s largest Menorah in front of the Plaza hotel in NYC, we have stood side by side as proud representatives of the Jewish people. What I admire most about Sid is that he speaks his mind, doesn’t sugarcoat anything and will not hold back when it comes to speaking up for the Jewish community. He has always remained consistent and steadfast in his fight against hate and whether he is speaking to you one on one or if he is speaking to media outlets Nationwide he is always the same Sid.
Sid Rosenberg is known to the public as a conservative Jewish-American radio host in New York City (Sid & Friends in the Morning on WABC) and an outspoken, high-profile pro-Israel media figure. Rosenberg frequently uses his media platform to advocate for Israel, defend the Jewish community, and respond aggressively to rising antisemitism and anti-Israel rhetoric, especially following the October 7, 2023 attacks. Rosenberg has extensively covered, commemorated, and reacted to the October 7th Hamas attacks on Israel through his 77 WABC radio show, Sid & Friends In The Morning. He has traveled to Israel to visit the Nova music festival site and Gaza border kibbutzim, honoring the victims, survivors, and hostages of the October 7th attacks. He also documented his experiences sheltering during the Israel-Hamas conflict. Ahead of and during the three-year anniversary of the attacks in October 2026, Rosenberg dedicated shows to commemorating the victims.
Rosenberg has frequently criticized New York politician and antisemite Zohran Mamdani regarding statements made about the October 7th anniversary and subsequent conflict. Rosenberg strongly opposed Mamdani’s false statements against Israel, U.S. policy, and accusations of genocide, as well as Mamdani’s reception at an October 7th vigil in Union Square. Rosenberg criticized Mamdani for skipping the annual Israel Day Parade in New York City, stating the absence reflected hatred toward Jewish people.
He is a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, crediting him with major pro-Israel actions such as moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, brokering the Abraham Accords, and recognizing the Golan Heights. He has unconditionally and loyally defended Trump’s leadership to Israeli and American audiences. Rosenberg frequently attacks political figures he views as hostile to Israel or the Jewish community, including heavy criticisms of NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani over statements concerning Israel and the October 7 anniversary. He has expressed sharp divisions within the Jewish diaspora, frequently criticizing liberal Jews whose politics or public stances he opposes. Rosenberg has frequently referred to Donald Trump as “the greatest president ever” and “the greatest president of my lifetime”. President Trump has also publicly praised Rosenberg, including congratulating him on his induction into the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame in October 2026.
As we head into the Midterm Elections on Tuesday, November 3rd there is a lot at stake. I had the opportunity to ask Sid what his thoughts are as we battle antisemitism and a pro terror mayor like Mamdani and what the Republican agenda must be to win the upcoming Midterm elections. Sid conveyed, “I think it’s important that everyone goes out on Tuesday and votes for the right candidates, we’ve already got Mamdani in this State and he is a disaster in our city. Bruce Blakeman needs to win obviously, Kathy Hochul has done nothing to help us in our battle against antisemitism. Leticia James has also done nothing as Attorney General of NY in this battle and we need to vote for Saritha Komatireddy. We have an opportunity on Tuesday to vote for the right Republicans who are people that will help both our city and our State.” I thanked Sid for all that he has done as an American Patriot and a vociferous advocate for both Israel and the Jewish people. He has used his large platform to boldly tell the World that we aren’t going anywhere which is embodied by the saying ‘Am Yisrael Chai’, the Nation of Israel lives and will always prevail.
