So Israel Is Supposed to Leave Gaza. Let’s See How That Happens.

Keir Starmer, Macron and Canada’s Mark Carney want to recognize Palestine as a state. Israel is told it is committing genocide in Gaza. Did I miss October 7th,2023? Who attacked Israel first with the largest number of murdered Jews since the Holocaust?

I am Jewish but in the United States. OK, what gives me the right to comment? Simple. Zionism and what Israel does affects me, whether I like it or not. Is it fair? Doesn’t matter. De Gaulle was right. Macron should stick to governing cheese. Mark Carney? Eh tu, eh?

Any choice Israel makes is bad. The choice is really to choose the least bad. That is common in Geopolitics. Peter Zeihan hit the nail on the head when he described Gaza as an open air prison. Egypt ruled it for twenty five years, when Gaza had many fewer people. All right, you. No comments from the peanut gallery about Gazans breeding like…Killer rabbits, a la Monty Python and the Holy Grail? We move on.

Does Israel finish the demolition derby on Gaza, clear the rubble and turn it into the world’s largest parking lot? Here we go, career opportunities for Gazans as…Parking attendants?

To much of the world, even if Israel did everything right, they would still be wrong. Sometimes, being the Chosen People has to make you wonder, chosen for what? Maybe it’s a tough job being Jewish.
