So much uncertainty
Have you noticed? Things seem so uncertain.
Iran. Will they make a deal, or will the U.S. and Israel bomb the nuclear sites?
California rioting (and new protests in a number of cities). Will the troops and national guard make things better?
Ukraine. Will there be peace?
Gaza. Will things work out?
Israel’s government coalition. Will it remain whole?
The economy. Will it be ok in the U.S. and the world?
So many questions. So much uncertainty.
I remember the Six Day War. Israel miraculously won.
I remember the Yom Kippur War. Israel came back and won.
I remember the First Gulf War. Thirty-nine scuds fell on Israel. The world witnessed G-d’s protection.
I remember October 7. Israel came back, miraculously defeating Hezbollah, which led to Assad’s sudden collapse.
I think about the past miracles. I think about how the Almighty saved His people through two thousand years of exile. I remember.
So that now, amidst the uncertainty, I tell myself, we will be victorious.
Moshiach will come. And peace will permeate every corner across our world.
Israel is standing up to the world. Wondrous events are happening. Redemption seems so close.
May it happen very soon.
