By the Grace of G-d

Sometimes … (thoughts during the intermediate days of Passover)

Sometimes you just want to write.

You see the world around you. And you want to write.

About happiness.

About a world that changes faster than we can keep up.

About penguins and rainbows and nothing.

Sometimes you want to write about nothing at all. So that you can breathe, relax, exhale. And dream about the world that is going to be.

A world of delight. A world where no one will fight. A world of peace and harmony.

Sometimes you want to write about wonderfulness. About people who see each other in a deeper more meaningful way.

Sometimes you need to just stop writing. And instead, to dream. To wonder. To laugh. To appreciate.

Sometimes you want to just stop and do absolutely nothing. And then you tell yourself, that it’s time to start again.

Because there is a battle to win. A battle against evil and tyranny and oppression and injustice and unfairness. A battle against what is unG-dly.

Sometimes, you put the pen down. And you think about …

a world of utmost perfection, joy, and oneness with our Creator.

Sometimes.
