Stand Up To Be Counted

Torah Portion Bamidbar –

Numbers: Chapters 1 to 4 v20

Stand up to be counted with your head held high.
Each one of you is unique and each one
Part of the collective, where each one counts
In the desert of the world, ” Bamidbar”.

You make the difference, to bring conscience
Into every landscape and soundscape,
Where your thought, word and deed repairs
The world, to bring justice and compassion.

The wilderness awaits cultivation
For everyone to belong to the partnership
Between the Divine and humanity,

Everyone counts for the Sanctuary
To be brought down from on high, as an oasis
For humanity in every domain.
Thus Divinely inspired, blessed for fulfillment.
