Stop the carnage on the roads!

I am shocked and more than that, at the rising deaths on our roads and when I hear the words Corkinet I want to scream.

Through SERIOUS MEDICAL REASONS I was forced to close our organisation for Road Safety-METUNA ,which had pioneered many life saving ideas and changes on our roads.

SINCE then  I have been amazed at the lack of interest by those who have also the resources, to change road behaviour! They could save lives as well as prevent those horrific injuries which are a reminder till death, of someone’s disrespect for law and order or simply “an accident”

Those who read this and were involved like we were, will understand that we did not just start an organisation! We also changed many things here. We had to bring experts from overseas to convince those who had resources and wanted to HELP that things could be different. The aforementioned includes roundabouts and speed bumps.

Where is everyone now?

Everything about road deaths and accidents which by their very name not only cause distress, but also a drain on medical services and more should be written about in LARGE PRINT. This is not a war against an enemy its a war against ourselves. Anyone can become a victim any family can become bereaved “at the wink of an eye” it’s there all of the time. IT DOES GROW LIKE A CANCER BUT NOT DEALING WITH IS SERIOUSLY HAS MADE IT A CANCER, EATING AWAY AT RESOURCES BUT MORE THAN THAT DESTROYING COMPLETE HOUSEHOLDS EMOTIONALLY.

ONE CAN REFER TO A LOVED ONE AS HAVING BEEN KILLED IN BATTLE OR BY TERRORISTS, BUT TERRORISM IS ON OUR ROADS AND HAS NO RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL DEFINITION.

PLEASE IF ANYONE IS LISTENING, BRING THE ISSUE FORWARD. I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO DEDICATE THE TIME AND RESOURCES, I AM AT THE END OF MY LIFE AND ALMOST AN INVALID MYSELF, I CAN IDENTIFY ONLY WITH HELPLESSNESS.  I HAVE DEAR AND WONDERFUL FRIENDS WHO GET UP EVERY DAY TO WASH AND DRESS A LOVED ONE, WHO CAN NO LONGER DO IT FOR ONESELF BECAUSE OF AN “ACCIDENT” WHAT IS AN ACCIDENT?

IS ANYONE LISTENING?
