Surreal

Iran is developing a nuclear weapon. Anti-semitism is becoming more vocal. Russia and Ukraine are battling. China threatens Taiwan, while the U.S. is trying to mobilize allies against China and Russia, while polarization has gripped the U.S., while the whole world seems to be challenged by a left wing vs. right wing struggle.

Israel is on the cusp of pushing through judicial reform, or perhaps reaching an agreement with the oppositon, while protests continue, while Gaza and others threaten Israel’s security.

What a crazy world. And surreal.

Covid just killed millions, and the world economy is trying to recover, while banking crises threaten stability.

Does anyone have any ideas? Are we just ignorng things, hoping they go away. Are we stuck in passivity, trying to be nonchalant while so much seems to be crashing around us?

What to do? What to do?

Here’s a suggeston. When life seems like it’s way beyond us, when we feel helpless, when the universe seems to dwarf our tiny existence, when all else seems to be failing, dance.

Dance with the joy of knowng that we will win.

Do a good deed, help another person, to bring the Redemption quicker.

And then, very soon, we will dance and rejoice, forever.
