Swarm
With Zohran Mamdani’s election victory to be the next mayor of New York City, he joins the swarm of antisemites in positions of power and influence. The infestation includes haters who are holding positions in government and who air their vile views across America’s communications pathways.
Mamdani’s antisemitic credentials are a matter of public record. He started a chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine at prestigious Bowdoin College. From his own mouth, “We have to make clear that when the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it’s been laced by the IDF.” His desire for Jewish genocide was made clear with his chants, “From the River to the Sea.” His plan to terrorize all Jews, including those in Gotham was implied in his proudly stating, “Globalize the Intifada.”
Mamdani joins the political Far Left harboring the likes of the Congressional Squad (Omar, Tlaib, AOC, Pressley, Lee) and Senator Bernie Sanders. From the Far Right in Congress, examples include Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene. Influencers pumping out wild antisemitic conspiracies, dog-whistle insults and conflicted loyalty accusations include Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens, Kanye West and Andrew Tate.
Along with these openly anti-Jew and anti-Israel destructive detractors are enablers like Senator Chuck Schumer, a New York City resident, who should have been defending Jews and Israel but instead sat impotently on the sidelines. There are other antisemitic-adjacent politicians who amorally shuffle their policies to gain political benefit. The long list of Democrat A-listers who supported Mamdani and chose to overlook his antisemitism needs to be pondered.
Mamdani’s ascent to lead an American city populated with the most Jews outside of Israel should be a clarion call that something is terribly wrong. Fair questions about this disaster include why so many “Jews” voted for him. It is estimated that over 20% cast their ballot for someone so outspoken about his hate for Israel. Why had the array of Jewish organizations, including the many synagogues in the five boroughs gone silent or acted so late? Were they more worried about stepping across the political divide to criticize a Democrat or snub the woke/DEI doctrine?
Mamdani identifies as a Shia Muslim, born in Kampala, Uganda. At 34 years of age, son of wealthy parents, and an obscure New York State Assemblyman who has never held a job, was his charming grin and giveaway policies sufficient to win his candidacy and the election? Yes, he was very lucky to face a very weak set of opponents but still this Socialist Democrat with his platform of radical ideas offering of something for nothing should have been laughed off the stage.
Mamdani’s mayorship mirrors London’s Muslim Mayor Sadiq Kahn. The extensive immigration by Muslims into Western Europe over the past few decades has increased crime and security issues. Some countries have Muslim populations nearing 10%. With Western countries betraying Israel in the United Nations, the trends reflect rising overall antisemitism and Islam-based Israel bias. Simply, the American swarm of Jew-hatred seems an extension of its European trends.
Maybe the real culprits are the history teachers, pro-Jewish organization leadership, or even the parents who were not sufficiently clear about what happens when a door is opened just a crack, and haters are allowed to crawl in. The lessons from the last century must have been poorly taught.
