This interview is with Avi Shabtai, the CEO of Ramon.Space.
Avi is the CEO of Ramon.Space, a leader in space computing systems that are revolutionizing SW-defined satellites. With extensive business and technology leadership background from startups to publicly traded companies, his career spans various industries, including wireless, data center, networking, and space. Avi has pursued his passion for deep technology innovation via his leadership of several companies around the globe, including his most recent position as CEO of MultiPhy Inc., specializing in high-speed integrated circuits for the data center market. Before MultiPhy, he held several executive positions as VP and GM at Alvarion Networks (ALVRQ), Dir of Engineering at Metalink (MTLK), VP R&D at Tiaris, and the intelligence Unit of the Israeli Defense Force. Avi holds an MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and is an SMP graduate of the Technion Institute of Management.
Q: What are your main productivity tips?
A lot of coffee, focus on the one thing you need to do.
Q: What is your favorite drink?
Coffee unless we are talking alcoholic mojito.
Q: How do you deal with stress and anxiety?
With Sports, and a vacation.
Q: Your tips for aspiring entrepreneurs?
You have to have passion and a strong belief in what you’re doing.
There are a lot of good ideas, but a lot of them depend on the execution.
Q: Who in the Tech industry would you like to meet for lunch?
Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I would say Spain as I have recently started studying Spanish.
Q: What is your favorite book recommendation?
Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind – Yuval Noah Harari.

I am passionate about deep technology and how technology affects our lives.
