As a result of your recent comments (AIPAC Monsters, Dark Money, Genocide, referring to Israel as Palestine – we could go on) you have accomplished what we avid Zionists and Jewish loving people struggle so hard to achieve,  Achdut! Unity!

Now, my most liberal Jewish friends and family members join hands in strengthening our commitment to the Jewish State, Judaism and each other because of your words.

This is also evidenced by the letter released by AIPAC signed by 717 Rabbis of all denominations coming together in thought, outrage, love and support of our magnificent Israel.

That rarely happens except for incitements like October 7, the kidnapping and killing of 3 beautiful souls – Israeli teenagers -Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Shaer and Naftali Fraenkel, swastikas painted on Synagogues, the Bondi Beach Slaughter, among many other horrific events. Welcome to this tragic list.

When you speak, you exude passion and confidence. It certainly appears that you have risen quickly. Let’s credit the electricity and perceived success generated to the Knicks, FIFA, America 250 in NYC and an incomparably vibrant City. I don’t see where your campaign promises boosted anything. I am still looking for that free bus. Oh, did you know that Israel has completely free travel throughout the country on a comprehensive transportation system for seniors. As it says in our Passover Haggadah, “Go and Learn.”

There is another thank you I must offer. Your rhetoric has caused my apartment in Jerusalem the Capital of Israel, to impressively appreciate in the few months after I made Aliyah. Our move was not motivated by fear, rather one of connection, love of Judaism and lust for the land of Israel.  I am certain the people in Florida appreciate the financial appreciation as well.  It does appear you seek to rid the city of highly accomplished individuals. Yes, the Jewish clan consists in high percentages of those that helped build and continually contribute to New York’s multifaceted brilliance.

Your rise will not continue, history will show how disastrous your vitriol and socialist experiment is. However, like the Jewish Nation, the City has proven to be resilient when challenged.

Maybe you will change your tune when you do recognize that global Israel only gets stronger when threatened or attacked in any form.

Mr. Mamdani, heed these words, words do have power. Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel communicated that it wasn’t tanks, machine guns nor gas chambers that killed 6 million Jews, it was words. You have said too much already.
