Thank you, Mr. Obama — For all this

As your eight years as president of the USA comes to an end, I want to thank you for the following (this list was developed with input from many friends who will go nameless to protect the guilty):

Some of the questionable positive numbers notwithstanding, we are in much worse financial shape than when you began. The bottom line: Almost $20 BILLION in debt — that is about $63,000 for EVERY American. Mr. Obama, my children and grandchildren thank you for putting this burden on their shoulders.

Thank you for placing more regulations on business than anyone else in history.  This led to increased burdens on all businesses and a weaker economy. And, of course, we must thank you for the disaster called ObamaCare.

Remember the ‘Beer Summit’ that you were forced to have? Mr. Obama, thank you for your anti-law enforcement attitude. The death and destruction that has resulted has significantly hurt the moral fabric of our country. And thank you, Mr. Obama, for your efforts in making race relations in the USA the worst they have been in decades.

Mr. Obama, thank you for sending Rahm Emanuel to Chicago, which has, under his leadership, turned into a killing zone. Thank you for using the IRS and other federal agencies to attack political foes. And, thank you for the hundreds of pardons, including one to a traitor.

Thank you for misleading the American public on why the embassy in Benghazi was attacked. And thank you for not condemning your colleagues who will not attend the inauguration, thus showing no respect for the Office of the Presidency.

Mr. Obama, thank you for making our military much weaker (remember how our sailors were treated when their ship was boarded by Iranian sailors?). And, thank you for not understanding what the word ILLEGAL means, treating illegal immigrants better than Vets and the homeless. A special thank you for not securing our borders.

Thank you for not using the term ‘Islamic Terrorism’. This blindness (or worse) has opened the doors to what happened in Orlando, San Bernardino, Ft. Hood, among many others. And thank you for your lack of action which has allowed the growth of Islamic terror, ISIS and other terrorist groups.

Thank you, Mr. Obama, for having John Kerry as your Secretary of State. He has certainly made the world a less safe place for all of us.

Thank you, Mr. Obama, for going to Egypt on your first overseas trip as president, leading to the Arab Spring (we all know how that turned out). And, thank you for your efforts in stopping the death and destruction in Syria.

Mr. Obama, thank you for giving strength to the enemies of the Jewish people. You encouraged the regrowth of anti-Semitism by repeatedly singling out Israeli policies. Thank you for defaming and disrespecting PM Netanyahu (remember the back door entrance?) and trying to have him defeated. And, thank you for endorsing a UN resolution that calls the Western Wall “occupied Palestinian territory” and for suggesting that Israel will have peace if only it returns to the 1967 borders.

Mr. Obama, thank you for the Iran deal. When (not if) Iran uses its new found capabilities and drops a nuclear bomb or uses a dirty bomb somewhere in the world I hope that you will be watching.

An especially big thank you, and this I mean sincerely, for being part of the process that led to Hillary Clinton’s defeat.

And, finally, a HUGE thank you for leaving the White House.
