After nine long months, it comes as some surprise that there still exists a communications problem in US, Israeli and Palestinian peace talks. Either these negotiations have been taken far too casually by all concerned or there is a willful desire on the part of some to have them fail for whatever nefarious reasons might now be present.
If such discussions can be so easily undermined by poor transmission of extremely relevant data, one shudders to think what might have been the result of another nine months battling on with the same style of malfunctioning debate.
While it must be hoped that some better means of presenting vital information will soon be forthcoming, clearly this serious mishap does not speak well of the current system. If it can be so easily disrupted by external pressures and the inevitable infighting endemic to this dispute, then something much more clear-cut and transparent should also be included to massively enhance the quest for peace in the region.
