In the previous Post I introduced a few possible new Posts for clarification and substantiating the first four Heavens in the new Heavenly-Jerusalem cosmic cycle. Now I will continue with the rest of the Heavens, adding new possible Posts, which could mark the reality of the new Heavenly-Jerusalem cosmic cycle as an enormous field for inspiring work for centuries and millennia to come!
The Fifth Heaven is the reality of the Heavenly Jerusalem. I presented this Heaven as a colossal Zodiac-Mandala with 12 Gates which open the spiritual Temples of the world religions. Divine Masters with their Feminine Counterparts radiate from each one of the 12 Gates in order to reveal their Initiations. The initiations at the four cardinal points form the main typological structure of the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem. All other initiations gravitate to one or another of these four types depending on their place on the Mandala.
Similar to the Buddhist Mandala, the main initiations at the four cardinal points can be presented in a symbolic form through different spiritual characteristics such as universal direction, earthly manifestation of the Divine Spirit, Feminine Counterpart, element, colour, posture and others. In order to describe the essence of the initiations at the cardinal points of the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem, however, we have to introduce many more spiritual characteristics and concepts: cosmic phase, universal principle, mission, view of earthly life, type of transcendence, spiritual practice, model of the universe, structure of creation, spiritual transformation of the human being, symbol of initiation, sublime state of consciousness, ultimate reality. Then, with the help of all these spiritual characteristics and concepts, we can, based on the key characteristics, model the main Initiations in the spiritual history of humankind.
Obviously, the meditative work on the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem could be very rich and comprehensive. Two of my previous Posts were Heavenly Jerusalem as a Majestic Zodiac-Mandala (05/12/2022) and The Heavenly Jerusalem – Mandala Meditation (12/12/2022). In general, there is a lot of material from my books and our common collective work for many more Posts about this wonderful Heaven, where the three higher worlds meet – Keter of Yetzirah, Tiferet of Beriah and Malkhut of Atzilut!
Here it is reasonable to quote some excerpts from my correspondence with the great Kabbalist Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi (Peace and Light to his Soul). In one of my letters to him (from 28th of April 2011) I wrote: In regard to astrology, I would like to share with you one of my ‘astrological concepts’. In your book ‘The Anatomy of Fate’ you connect astrology with the human psyche in accordance with the World of Formation (p. 50, p. 78, p. 82). This forms the basis of the Spiritual School of the Soul. In my book ‘The Second Coming’ (enclosed), I developed the Mandala of the Heavenly Jerusalem as a great cosmic-spiritual Zodiac-Mandala (Part Two, Step Four, p. 75; Part Three, Chapter Two, p. 215). I believe that, based on the system of co-ordinates and the typology of the initiations in Table 1 (p. 234), this cosmic-spiritual Zodiac deals with the World of Creation, especially with the ‘cosmological structure’ of the Heavenly Jerusalem. This could be considered as a ‘meta-astrological’ basis of the Mystery School of the Spirit. What do you think of this interpretation?
The answer from Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi (from 8th of May, 2011) was very encouraging and supportive: ‘Thank you for your letter and books, which are packed with information. I would agree that your Zodiacal Mandalas belong to the spiritual World of Creation. They would be very useful as a focus of contemplation and meditation.’
Based on my correspondence with Halevi, the study of his books, the study of Kabbalah in general and the study of the Holy Scriptures, I would like to summarise that in the World of Creation, which is filled with the Divine Immanent Presence, we will deal (through reflection, contemplation and meditation) with the living energies of Words (mantras, prayers, spiritual formulas), Music, Colour Rays of Light, Divine Principles, Archetypal Numbers, etc., in order to substantiate, experience and appreciate the Ten Heavens in the new Heavenly-Jerusalem cosmic cycle!
The next Heaven, the Sixth, is connected with the Day of Resurrection (01/24/2023). I introduced it through the symbolic figure Pentagram given by the great Divine Master Beinsa Douno. In it there three circles, outer, inner and in the centre, corresponding respectively to the life journey of the ordinary human being in Asiyyah, the Path of spiritual Disciple in Yetzirah and the Path of the Initiate in Beriah. As I mentioned in the Post about the Sixth Heaven, in the Pentagram the Master Beinsa Douno describes, through many symbols and pictures, the evolution of the human being from ordinary earthly consciousness, through the blossoming of the human soul, up to the awakening of the higher Divine Self and union with G-d. To a great extent, the Universal Figure of the Pentagram could be compared with Jacob’s Ladder of human evolution. Here it is important to note that the material in the world religions about the evolution of the human being is enormous as well.
The mystery of the Day of Resurrection and Judgement, is about to happen. In Kabbalah, in many other spiritual traditions, and in our own collective spiritual work, there is a lot of material which could prepare us for this crucial event. Obviously, some Posts, deciphering the pictures in the Pentagram in greater detail are relevant. Important Kabbalistic Teaching about the Spiritual School of the Soul, The Mystery School of the Spirit, the End of Days could also be very helpful and revealing. Let us not forget that the eschatological dimension in Islam is extremely rich and well developed.
Below I would like to give one example from our own collective work on the Day of Resurrection and Judgement. In many of our International Summer Assemblies on the sacred mountain Rila in Bulgaria we had special activities connected with the Day of Resurrection and Judgement. For instance, in the Summer Assembly in 2009, we dedicated a special event to the Day of Resurrection. After deep emotional prayer, we decided to listen to the music of Dies Irae (Judgement Day) in Berlioz’ Requiem. When the music of Dies Irae started, we listened to it with great appreciation, and gradually, especially after the four brass bands sounded (specially introduced by Berlioz for the Day of Judgement), we entered into a state of exhilaration and awe. It is impossible to describe the power of the moment when the music of Dies Irae filled the whole valley beneath the Lake Summit with a spectacular avalanche of sounds. The feeling was that the fateful moment of Dies Irae has come. The heavens were open and ready to welcome home the righteous people and to turn back the sinful ones. For some participants, especially for me, Michelangelo’s painting The Last Judgment arose in my inner vision. Even this preliminary experience of the Day of Resurrection and Judgment was staggering and with an apocalyptic power.
In order to soften the apocalyptic vibrations, ten minutes after the end of Dies Irae from Berlioz’ Requiem, we listened to the music of Agnus Dei (the Lamb of God) from the Mass in B Minor by Bach. In comparison to the fearsome energies of Dies Irae, the soft vibrations of Agnus Dei filled us with compassion, love, tenderness and kindness and we got a taste of the spiritual world, which will come after the apocalyptic Day of Resurrection and Judgment. To finish, we listened to the last chorus of Bach’s Mass in B Minor, Dona Nobis Pacem (Bless us with Peace), which sounded like a monumental, solemn chorus from Heaven, meeting all saved souls as they come into the embrace of G-d the Father and the Divine Mother!
The human beings who pass successfully through the Day of Resurrection and Judgement will enter from the Sixth to the Seventh Heaven and will connect themselves with the Self-realised Universal Beings from the history of humankind. Among them are the great Divine Masters and Personifications of the Divine Feminine from the Messianic Line, with whom they have to merge and co-create together in the new Heavenly Jerusalem cosmic cycle.
