In this episode, the shells are again shattered.

The Eternal Jew’s Tale
Messiah Tractates, a Montage
Luria, Glorious, 3 of 3

Human, all too human. Beliefs to yoke the wild animal in us, that we might live by a fixed plan and never forget what God demands,

two dimensions that look like three,

mistaking tradition for Divine Will and halakha for the word of God; believing the wondrous dialogs of Talmud are Eternal Truths, and not meandering wonder and doubt, contentious decisions and power plays.

“My folk, when will you be prepared? When will a simple word from your mouth, a touch of your finger, a gesture, a look, by you be enough to open the eyes of one who doesn’t know they’re blind; to clarify the turbid soul of those who think they know the way?

“But who am I, cracking whips, but a less-than-Moses hanging judge, just one more stalk of corn in a field waiting to be threshed and ground up.

His doubts in the night are answered by day: down to Isaac an Elijah comes after the mourning days of Av on the *13th of Av, 5332,* and begins to reveal a new Kabbalah…
*-* July23, 1572 of Julian’s calendar

“Yisroyel will return to this land which was given to us, and it will again become ours, taken by us, ours and not ours,

“ours to work while we serve the Lor;

“and there will be no messiah for it, not I in return, nor any of us,

“but piece by piece, war by war, negotiations and tactics and ploys, and hopes lost and hopes regained, successes, failures, and surprising turns…

“a Jewish land once again; and we will be hated and even despised that the Lor has given this land to us; yea the Lor has bestowed it upon us,

“we elevated by the Lor; we, elevated in the Lor; we elevated for the Lor;

“hated by all who hate the Lor:

“who love Messiah and hate the Lor; who love a Prophet and hate the Lor; who love their kings and hate their King…”

The Ari looks inward and hears all this and his limbs shiver and his skin grows cold, and all the spirits that are guarding his soul tremble and weep and drop their shields, and the dead souls now smell Isaac’s blood…

And into Zion the Word goes out:

‘the time of aliyahs is coming soon; the hour is set, the gears are turning…

‘and they will hate us, and they will hate until they come to love the Lor, and that’s when we will know for sure the world is prepared to finally awake…’

And then the Elijah continues, thus, to Isaac whose soul is growing faint…

“But with it comes a sacrifice:

“all the shells that you repaired,

tikkuns so carefully instilled,

“will not withstand this brighter light…

“The human mind is the medium that twists the Lor into human events, so that you think and believe:

“history follows rational laws; souls can be at one with Divine Intent; Prophets can write the very words that God is dictating to them….

“These are only desperate hopes drawn in shades of longing and fear, well designed to curate us. But even the most perfected souls cannot comprehend the Divine language, and can’t distinguish, oh so deaf, the Divine whisper from the human howl. All our Prophets, so full of God, with such visions and moral clarities,

“are as if they were drunk and staggering about til they come to that tavern at the end of the road, a desperate place, a dreadful place of firewater and burnt out souls where hope ends and messiah begins,

at the fraying faith in Adonai,

and there they drink their fill of jinns.

“This fire water, my beloved son, you must drink. It is the wine poured upon the sacrifice, sacrifice that consumes all…”

The Ari wept and drank the flames, and as he drank he whispered thus:

*‘Let me die with my Philistines;’*
*-* Judges 16:30

his holy soul returning to God, his mortal shell returning to dust…

We, the Messiah People, us Jews, we it is who are bringing the Lor, we and those who would walk with us, each in our ways, separate and one. As for the cursers and mongers of war, their own venom is consuming them. And so we wait while the fires burn, while the venoms kill, while hate is consumed. The fires are searing along the road and few the ones who bandage the wounds, and few the ones who suppress the flames, and fewer the ones preparing new ways.

So what about you? Are you preparing? Will you ever even want to prepare?

End of Luria, Glorious

~~~~~~~~~~
Here ends the epic poem/story of The Eternal Jew. This montage about Isaac Luria was the last thing the Eternal Jew revealed to me, so it is the last thing that I can tell you. Perhaps if you listen closely, he will speak to you, he or Batkol, and you will take up recording the tale. But altho you may not pick up a pen, if you are a Jew living as a Jew, you will be continuing to create the tale that others might step up and record. I wish you all khazak v’ ematz, strength and good courage, and a working moral compass that operates both inwardly and outwardly.
