Greeting and Blessing:
I am sending to you and to Pierre Poilievre by email, the following which I plan to post on the Times of Israel blog.
Canada is facing severe economic challenges. Trump is very upset.
What can you do? How can you fix this?
Here’s a possible answer:
Stop euthanizing Canadians.
What does one thing have to do with the other?
Simple. Since G-d created everything, and at Mount Sinai He told Moses to tell all nations the seven Noahide laws, including the law to not murder, then abiding by these laws will bring peace to the world.
Trump’s tariffs are destroying Canadian livelihoods. But the Canadian government’s legalization of euthanasia destroys the lives of Canadians.
Stop killing Canadians. Protect their lives. And then watch the Almighty protect Canadian livelihoods.
As of two years ago, sixty thousand Canadians were euthanized. In the last two years, another thirty thousand were probably euthanized. That’s a total of ninety thousand.
Ninety thousand lives snuffed out. I know you want to be merciful. You want to end their suffering. But it’s actually cruel.
It’s time to make Canada kind. It’s time to stop euthanasia.
And then, watch Trump act kindly to Canadians. Because when we do what G-d wants, we open channels to receive His blessings for peace and prosperity.

According to statistics released by the Canadian government, over 60,000 Canadians received MAID (medical assistance in dying — which is euthanasia) from June 2016 up to and including 2023. In 2023 15,343 people died from euthanasia.

Based on the 2023 figure, we can project that about 15,000 were euthanized in 2024, and another 15,000 in 2025. 60,000 plus 30,000 equals 90,000.
Canada euthanized so many people. Yet Trudeau and Carney condemn Israel for killing Gazan civilians (who are used as human shields by barbaric terrorists who attacked Israel).
Israel has made tremendous efforts to try to steer Gazan civilians to safety. Canada’s government facilitates euthanasia, instead of redoubling efforts to provide extra care and save lives.
