The Saudis’ Involvement in 9/11 and Shrimp: How Torah Proves True Again

Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son; and thou shalt call his name Ishmael, because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he shall be a wild ass of a man: his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the face of all his brethren.

A group among Ishmael may have well confirmed this. That group is the Saudi Arabians who may have helped murder close to 3,000 people on September 11, 2001. If the Saudis helped Mohammed Atta and others murder Dana Falkenberg and almost 2,999 other people, It also sheds light on why Usama bin Laden was able to stay alive for as he long as he was, and hopefully brings to light the terrorists’ motive that only the 9/11 Commission was brave enough to write down:

Mullah Omar is reported to have opposed this course of action for ideological reasons rather than out of fear of U.S. retaliation. He is said to have preferred for al Qaeda to attack Jews, not necessarily the United States.

Who else would have the ko’ach to speak ha’emet? 9/11 was an attack against the United States only because the United States supports (or at least supported) Israel (whether they do now is questionable. G-d willing, the 114th (and I thought 115th!) Congress will assure that the United States will support (or resupport) Israel.

As for Torah and shrimp:

And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that swarm in the waters, and of all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are a detestable thing unto you, and they shall be a detestable thing unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, and their carcasses ye shall have in detestation. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that is a detestable thing unto you.

According to Fox News and Womens’ Health Magazine:

When it comes to eating shrimp, you have more to worry about than that little brown line on their backs.

That’s the word from a new study by Oceana, a marine-conservation advocacy group, which, after testing the DNA of 143 shrimp products from 111 grocery stores and restaurants, found that a whopping 30 percent of shrimp products are misrepresented to consumers.

Needless to say, those shrimp po’boys after church or the service at the Reform shul aren’t looking so good after all, are they?

By the way, I’m not saying that I don’t eat treif once in a while (I do, though I try to stay as kosher as often as possible. Also, Nazarene Judaism and Reform Judaism do share the point about one’s Judaism being genuine so long as it’s God-centered Judaism; and that includes the food schtick.). All I’m saying is HaBorei knew what He was doing when he created ha’olam, including the creatures therein.

I should add that this is one point where Nazarene Judaism and Reform Judaism diverge:

For Reform, the Torah is the God-inspired [not God-given] attempt by Hebrews/Israelites/ Jews to understand their surroundings and their relationship with God. While it is a holy document, the Torah is rooted in the past, and we can even sometimes discern the circumstances under which certain sections were written down. Reform thus sees development in Judaism, not just through the biblical period but thereafter as well, so that we can continue the process of helping Judaism evolve by coming to our own understandings. We also recognize that Jews in various places developed varying customs and understandings, again proof to us that Judaism is not and never was monolithic.

As for Nazarene Judaism, it agrees with Orthodox Judaism about the God-given nature of Tanakh.
