The Secret of Megillat Ruth

The secret of Megillat Ruth is about redemption.

The story of Ruth must be studied in parallel with that of Lot and Judah, and the common denominator for the three stories is the secret of the Tetragrammaton, specifically:

Yud is father, Hey is mother, Vav is son, and Hey is daughter, as is known.

In the story of Lot, the father lived, the mother died, the two husbands (sons) died, and the two daughters lived, and a son was engendered by Yud (father) and the final Hey (daughter), by which union the Yud (father) descended and became the Vav (son).

In the story of Judah, the father lived, the mother died, the two sons died, and the two daughters which were actually one, Tamar, lived, and two sons were engendered by Yud (father) and the final Hey (daughter-in-law), by which union the final Hey (daughter-in-law) ascended and became the first Hey (mother).

In the story of Ruth, the father died, the mother lived, which is in reverse of the preceding two stories. At the level of Vav, both sons died, same as the two preceding stories, and Ruth represents the final Hey (daughter-in-law).

What is of Noami then? Well, she descended from the first Hey (mother) to the final Hey (daughter), because similar to Ruth, she was without a husband, without a son and without any hope.

It is now clear that Noami and Ruth represent two aspects of Kingdom (final Hey) in need of redemption, and the redeemer is Boaz, representing the Vav.

Boaz בֹּעַז is spelled without a Vav, when the Vav is restored, his gematria becomes 85, exactly the number of verses in Megillat Ruth, Boaz therefore represents the quintessential Vav that builds the Kingdom.

The act of Boaz and Ruth in essence is the rectification of the previous sins of Lot and his daughters and Judah and Tamar, in that Boaz controlled his desire and waited until he married Ruth.

When the three stories are combined, the four-letter name can have the following parallel, with the key characters drawing from each story to form one grand story:

Yud – Lot

Hey – Tamar

Vav – Boaz

Hey – Ruth and Naomi

Astonishingly, the sum of the gematria is 1540, which is the triangle number of 55, the gematria of Bride כַּלָּה, meaning the redemption of the Kingdom.

1540 is also the gematria of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל, when Alef is counted as 1000, for the redemption of the Kingdom is the redemption of Israel.

But there is a deeper secret in the story.

First of all, why did Ruth cling to Naomi, and why is the Kingdom presented by both Ruth and Naomi?

This is the secret of the Jews and the Nations, whose union completes the name Israel, the secret of redemption. The secret of the redemption is not only about the Jewish people, it is about the union of the Jews and the Nations, as represented by Naomi and Ruth.

Ruth is the secret of the turtledove, and Naomi is the secret of the dove, and Israel is the secret of the fig-tree, as revealed in the Song of Songs:

The sign of the fig-tree is revealed by Yeshua in 24:32 as the time of his return:

The dove is immediately mentioned:

Why is Ruth the turtledove? This is because the reverse of the name Ruth רוּת is turtledove תּוֹר.

Why is Naomi the dove? Dove יוֹנָה in Hebrew is Jonah, this is the prophet that was sent to the Nations. The gematria is 71 representing the 1 nation to the 70 nations.

Naomi is from the house of Judah, that is, of the Jews, her name means pleasantness but due to the exile she called herself Mara (bitterness), the gematria is 241, which is exactly the same gematria of Naomi and Dove, i.e. Naomi the Dove in exile.

When the voice of the turtledove is heard, it means summer is at hand and the redemption draws near, and two birds are unified on the fig-tree singing the new song.

“With the voice of the turtledove” in gematria is 749, exactly the sum of Ruth and Yivtzan, the original name of Boaz.

This is the secret of the inclusion of a turtledove and a pigeon in the covenant offering made by Abraham, being the father of a multitude of nations, and the redemption is not complete until the turtledove and dove are unified.

When Jews and Nations become one, their gematria is 153, the gematria of Sons of God, the secret of the 153 fish caught by Peter in John 21:11, in bringing back the lost sheep and completing the house of Israel:

When Sons of God is spelled out, the gematria is 853, exactly the same of Dove Naomi and Ruth, and 853 is exactly the mirror image of 358, the gematria of Mashiach, for only in Mashiach will the two becomes one:

The gematria of Judah (Jews) is 30, and the gematria of Nations is 59, when the two numbers are multiplied, the product is 1770, which is exactly the triangle number of 59, i.e. the Nations.

Adding 1 as kolel to unify the two into one, 1771 is exactly the sum of 231 and 1540, where 231 is the number of gates and 1540 is the number of the roots according to Sefer Yetzirah:

Gates are opened to the righteous nations (Isa 26:2) and roots are of the root of Jesse (Isa 11:10), both are the secret of Mashiach.

The secret of 1540 is Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל when Alef is counted as 1000, and where Israel is rearranged, it means: there is 231 (gates) יֵשׁ רל”א.

There are two redeemers mentioned in the Book of Ruth, the closer redeemer is unnamed but merely called Peloni Almoni.

The secret is about two redemptions, the first one by Boaz is incomplete until the closer redeemer is revealed.

Peloni Almoni is the concealed Mashiach and he chose not to redeem Ruth and Naomi because the time for final redemption has not arrived.

Peloni Almoni is the close redeemer, the gematria is 358, exactly the same of Mashiach:

Boaz represents Mashiach at his first coming, and Peloni Almoni represents Mashiach at his second coming.

The gematria of Boaz and Peloni Almoni is 386, exactly the same of Yeshua.

When the appointed time comes, this Peloni Almoni will usher in the final redemption as the father the mother and the son, the secret of letter Yud, Hey and Vav.

For the gematria of Almoni is 131, exactly the same as Elimelech, the concealed father (Yud); and gematria of Peloni is 170, exactly the same as Naomi, the revealed mother (Hey), but Peloni Almoni is also the redeemer the son, the Vav, the secret of Yud, Hey and Vav.

With the revelation of Peloni Almoni, the Tetragrammaton can be paralleled as follows:

Astonishingly, the sum 1225 is 35 squared, where 35 is the gematria of “I will redeem” אֶגְאָל, as promised by Peloni Almoni (Ruth 4:4).

1225 is the triangle number of 49, alluding to the 49 days of counting the Omer in order to receive Torah on Shavuot, on which day the secret of Ruth is also revealed.

The mid-point number of 1225 is 613, alluding to 613 commandments of Torah.

1225 is also the sum of the triangle number of Adamאָדָם  (45) and Eve חַוָּה (19), alluding to the final redemption of the entire human race:
