The Secret of Sukkot
Rosh Hashanah is the judgment of the world, and Yom Kippur is the forgiveness of sins, the secret of Sukkot is the dwelling of God on earth with his people.
The gematria of the “judgment of the world” and the “forgiveness of sins” is 1245, which is exactly the same gematria of “God dwells on earth with man” (2 Chr 6:18):
And the judgment of the world and forgiveness of the sins |
God dwells with man on earth |
The man is the general term for the concept of Bride at the collective level.
Rosh Hashanah corresponds to Our King (that judges); Yom Kippur corresponds to Our Father (that forgives), but what does Sukkot correspond to?
Sukkot symbolizes the grand finale of the human history as we know it, hence it represents the ultimate union of God with man as husband and wife, at which level, each man can finally relate to God at her personal level and proclaim: My husband אִישִׁי, as it is written:
וְהָיָה בַיּוֹם-הַהוּא נְאֻם-יְהוָה, תִּקְרְאִי אִישִׁי; וְלֹא-תִקְרְאִי-לִי עוֹד,בַּעְלִי | And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call Me Ishi, and shalt call Me no more Baali. (Hosea 2:18) |
Both “Ishi” אִישִׁי and “Baali” בַּעְלִי means “my husband”, but the connotation of Baali is that He is the master relative to a slave, whereas the connotation of Ishi is that He is the other half of the soul, as the union of Ish and Ishah אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה completes the name Yah, as is well known.
The gematria of “husband and wife” אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה is 623, which is the exact same gematria of “new wife” אִשָּׁה חֲדָשָׁה, which is the Bride adorned for her husband.
The Bride
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” (Rev 21:9) |
The Bride is called the wife of the lamb which in Hebrew would be rendered as: הַכַּלָּה אֵשֶׁת הַשֶׂה, the gematria is 1071.
Astonishingly, 1071 is the exact same gematria of “Knesset Israel” כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, meaning “the congregation of Israel” which in Kabbalah is known as “the collective souls of Israel both past and future” (Bahir).
1071 is also the spelling out of Adam and Eve signifying the primordial soul of mankind in general, as follows:
Adam Eve |
And of course the gematria of Adam Eve is 64 which is the exact ordinal number of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל, as follows:
Israel |
Ordinal number | 12+1+20+21+10 | 64 |
It is evident that the soul of mankind in general was originated from “Knesset Israel” (prior to creation), and will eventually conclude in “Knesset Israel” in her rectified state as the general term for the soul.
New Jerusalem
The Bride is also called New Jerusalem in Rev 21:10, symbolizing the union of soul (bride) with space (Jerusalem) in time (Sukkot), the fusion of the three dimensions of creation, as it were.
The gematria of “and the bride, and Jerusalem in Sukkot” in gematria is 1156.
Soul | And the bride |
Space | And Jerusalem |
Time | In Sukkot |
1156 |
1156 is exactly the same gematria of the following three unifications in one dwelling, which consist of time, space and soul, as follows:
The unification of time | One day | יוֹם אֶחָד | 69 |
The unification of space | One place |
The unification of soul | One flesh |
The unification of all | One dwelling |
1156 |
The dimension given for New Jerusalem in Rev 21:16 is as follows:
The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. |
The volume of the cube is 12 x 12 x 12 = 1728, without considering the zeros.
Jerusalem is called the city of truth, as it is written:
וְנִקְרְאָה יְרוּשָׁלַםִ עִיר הָאֱמֶת | and Jerusalem shall be called the city of truth…(Zechariah 8:3) |
Jerusalem is also called the holy city, as it is written:
עוּרִי עוּרִי לִבְשִׁי עֻזֵּךְ, צִיּוֹן: לִבְשִׁי בִּגְדֵי תִפְאַרְתֵּךְ, יְרוּשָׁלַםִ עִיר הַקֹּדֶשׁ | Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city…(Isaiah 52:1) |
The gematria of “In Jerusalem the holy city and city of truth” is exactly 1728, as follows:
In Jerusalem the holy city and city of truth |
1728 is also the same gematria of five names of the tabernacle, as follows:
Tent of meeting |
Tabernacle |
Holy temple |
Sanctuary |
Sukkah |
1728 |
The Third Temple
The third temple will be called “The LORD is there”, as it is written:
סָבִיב, שְׁמֹנָה עָשָׂר אָלֶף; וְשֵׁם-הָעִיר מִיּוֹם, יְהוָה שָׁמָּה | It shall be eighteen thousand reeds round about. And the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there. (Ezekiel 48:35) |
The gematria of “The LORD is there” יְהוָה שָׁמָּה is 371, which is exactly the same gematria of “city of God” עִיר הָאֱלֹהִים, which is Jerusalem, as it is written:
נִכְבָּדוֹת, מְדֻבָּר בָּךְ– עִיר הָאֱלֹהִים סֶלָה
|
Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah (Psalm 87:3) |
It is evident that the third temple is synonymous with New Jerusalem.
As it is written:
ירוּשָׁלַםִ הַבְּנוּיָה כְּעִיר שֶׁחֻבְּרָה-לָּהּ יַחְדָּו | Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that
is compact together (Psalm 122:3) |
The gematria of this verse is 1542, and noticeably, Jerusalem is spelled missing a Yud. When the Yud is restored at the end of time, the gematria is transformed to 1552, which is the exact same gematria of the “third temple from heaven”, as follows:
Third temple from heaven |
Mashiach is the Temple
But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. (Rev 21:22) |
Part of the verse can be rendered into Hebrew with a gematria in 1074, as follows:
For the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple |
1074 is exactly the same gematria of “to build Jerusalem”, as follows:
To build Jerusalem |
1074 = 6 x 176, which is the gematria of “cities of refuge” corresponding to the six cities of refuges.
1074 = 3 x 358, which is the gematria of Mashiach, as follows:
City of refuges |
Mashiach |
At the simple level, King Solomon is the one that built the house of the LORD, as it is written:
he began to build the house of the LORD (1 King 6:1) | וַיִּבֶן הַבַּיִת לַיהוָה | 541 |
The gematria of these three words is the exact same gematria of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל which is 541, hence Israel is also the builder at the collective level.
But ultimately, it is Mashiach who will build the third temple, which is the New Jerusalem, and the process of building is the revelation of himself as the temple and New Jerusalem.
The first time when the word “build” appears in Torah, it is connected with God building the Bride, as it is written:
וַיִּבֶן יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת-הַצֵּלָע אֲשֶׁר-לָקַח מִן-הָאָדָם, לְאִשָּׁה | And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from the man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man. (Gen 2:22) |
The gematria of this verse is 1891.
The word “made he” וַיִּבֶן literally means “and he built”.
The first time the Bride was built by God, and the last time she will be rebuilt by the Son.
The verb “build” בָּנָה can be permuted to spell “the son” הַבֵּן.
The first temple was built by the first Son of David King Solomon, as it is written:
וַיְהִי כְּכַלּוֹת שְׁלֹמֹה, לִבְנוֹת אֶת-בֵּית-יְהוָה | And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD…(1 King 9:1) |
Solomon is the first son of David to inherit the Kingdom of Israel, and Mashiach is the final son of David to inherit the Kingdom of God, and if we are to substitute “the son” for the name “Solomon” in above verse:
וַיְהִי כְּכַלּוֹת הַבֵּן לִבְנוֹת אֶת-בֵּית-יְהוָה | And it came to pass, when “The Son” had finished the building of the house of the LORD |
Amazingly, the gematria is transformed to 1891, which is exactly the gematria of the verse when God built the first Bride in the beginning.
Israel and Nations
Only in New Jerusalem which is the Tabernacle of David that was restored could Israel and the Nations become one.
This can be illustrated very simply as follows:
There are 22 Hebrew letters, hence there are 231 gates (two letter root). This is the secret of “There is 231” יֵשׁ רל”א, which can be permuted to spell Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל, as established in Sefer Yetzirah.
The number of the Nations according to Torah is 70. This is well established.
Since Hebrew is the root of all 70 languages, it follows that the root of each nation’s languages can also be represented with 22 letters, and the letters in total for 70 nations:
22 x 70 = 1540
And 1540 is exactly the possible combinations of the 22 Hebrew three letter roots, as established in Sefer Yetzirah, meaning the possible combination of the 22 Hebrew letters correspond to the 1540 letters for the 70 Nations.
1540 is the triangle number of 55, meaning the sum of the integers from 1 to 55, where 55 is the gematria of the Bride כַּלָּה. It is now clear that 1540 symbolizes the final rectified Bride.
When Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל is finally rectified and exalted, the gematria of Alef will become 1000, thus rendering the gematria of Israel from 541 to 1540, which includes the righteous nations as part of Israel, as it is written:
פִּתְחוּ, שְׁעָרִים; וְיָבֹא גוֹי-צַדִּיק,שֹׁמֵר אֱמֻנִים | Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation that keepeth faithfulness may enter in. (Isaiah 26:2) |
The gematria of this verse is 2037. Noticeably, the “gates” will be opened to them, hinting to the “231 gates” of Israel, as discussed above.
2037 is exactly the gematria of Israel and Kingdom, when the Alef of Israel is counted as both 1 and 1000, as follows:
Israel (Alef as both 1 and 1000) | יִשְׂרָאֵל | 1541 |
Kingdom |
2037 |
This is the glorious moment when Mashiach returns, and the Kingdom is established on earth, with the restoration of the fallen tabernacle of David, during the festival of Sukkot, for the gematria of “festival of Sukkot” חַג הַסֻּכֹּת is 496, which is exactly the same gematria of Kingdom מַלְכוּת.
Summary
In summary, the secret of Sukkot is the secret of the coming Kingdom of God when God is called “my husband”
At the collective level, the progression of the high holidays is from “our king” to “our father”, to “our husband”, the gematria is 638:
Rosh Hashanah – judgment | Our king |
Yom Kippur – forgiveness | Our father |
Sukkot – marriage | And our husband |
638 |
This is the exact same gematria of the three fathers, as follows:
Yom Kippur | Abraham |
Rosh Hashanah | Isaac |
Sukkot | Jacob |
638 |
At the personal level, Rosh Hashanah corresponds to “my king”, Yom Kippur corresponds to “my father”, and Sukkot corresponds to “my husband”, the gematria:
Rosh Hashanah – judgment | My king |
Yom Kippur – forgiveness | M father |
Sukkot – marriage | My husband |
434 |
434 is exactly the gematria of “Mashiach son of David”, when David is spelled with a Yud, hinting to the grand finale, as follows:
Mashiach ben David |
As it is written for the husband and wife:
…And they shall reign forever and ever (Rev 22:5) |
The rendering in Hebrew has the exact same gematria of Mashiach, which is 358, as follows:
And they shall reign forever and ever |
