The Solution

Now that things have quieted somewhat, we can stop to reflect.

In a YouTube video titled “Ariel Sharon and the Rebbe,” Sharon relates that before the Yom Kippur War, the Rebbe warned Sharon that the Bar Lev line would be a disaster for Israel. Sharon relates, that in the Rebbe’s letter to him, the Rebbe was “analyzing, as a military expert, what will happen. As a matter of fact,” Sharon continues, “in the Yom Kippur War, that happened. It was a tragedy, but that happened.”

I remember another video, when Sharon was confronted about why he is giving away land in Gaza, when the Rebbe had said that giving away land is dangerous and threatens Israel’s security. And Sharon answered, that he wishes he had more emunah (belief) in the Rebbe.

They say seeing is believing. Since the disengagement from Gaza, we have seen the rockets flying.

I think we can all now believe that the Rebbe was right. And we should declare clearly that we are not giving away any land. And perhaps, what we did give, we should retake.
