The Travelers’ Prayer

As we approach the season when many people choose to travel, it is appropriate to discuss Tefilat Ha-derekh, the traveler’s prayer. When does one say the traveler’s prayer? Going on a multi-day trip, how many times should one say the prayer? While discussing the traveler’s prayer, Rabbi Friedman includes other halahkic issues that one is likely to encounter while traveling.
