The United Nations has been Infiltrated by Hamas: Call an Independent Inquiry

The United Nations has astonishingly refused to support the aid efforts of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which has been providing food, medical supplies, and other essential services to the Palestinians in Gaza. The murder of five GHF workers by Hamas and the taking of GHF hostages has not even been condemned by the UN or the international media.

The UN insists that only its own humanitarian operations, such as UNRWA, are acceptable for aid delivery in Gaza. This insistence raises serious concerns about the UN’s true motives, particularly when evidence shows UNRWA has been infiltrated by Hamas, and UNRWA facilities have been used to launch attacks on Israel.

The UN criticizes GHF aid solely because it operates outside of the UN’s purview, and thus, is viewed as a challenge to the UN’s control over the aid narrative.

If the United Nations is genuinely interested in alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, it would be supportive of all avenues that successfully provide aid to the population. The insistence that the UN must be the sole conduit for aid distribution is not only restrictive, but it is also indicative of an underlying bias that serves to perpetuate the UN’s own agenda.

If the primary concern was the well-being of Gaza’s people, there would be no reason to oppose other effective humanitarian initiatives that alleviate suffering. The GHF aid should be welcomed and supported by the UN.

There have been numerous reports of Hamas operatives being employed by UNWRA, some of whom have been implicated in terrorist activities. This infiltration taints the impartiality of UNRWA’s operations and, by extension, the broader UN system of operations in Gaza.

The UN’s failure to address these allegations—and its failure to take any meaningful action against the presence of Hamas within its own agencies—suggests a disturbing level of complicity. There are credible concerns that some officials within the UN may be accepting bribes or other forms of financial incentives from outside actors. This financial influence in Gaza and outside actors’ close ties to Hamas are well-established, and the fact that certain UN officials may have been financially compromised raises serious questions about the UN’s ability to maintain its neutrality and integrity.

It is imperative that an independent inquiry be launched into the UN’s operations in Gaza. An independent commission, free from political interference, should be appointed to investigate the extent of Hamas’s infiltration into UN agencies, assess the degree of bias within UN aid delivery, and evaluate whether there have been any financial or political payoffs to UN officials by outside actors. The commission’s findings should be made public to ensure transparency and accountability within the UN system.
