Gurkan Gurkas

Then love has come

Love has a heavy taste
that empty words once fly like birds
begin falling to the ground one by one

Everything is on the tip of my tongue
and I can’t even open my mouth from that weight
Neither loneliness nor reality can alleviate

Like the falling of darkness in a cloudy weather
Getting lost in the sky
And letting your heart’s heaviness to the emptiness of your soul

Then you surrender your freedom to the heart that holds your hand
Even if you are free like a kite, it drags you from the part
Your loneliness is falling apart
and your truth flies away with the breeze of love…
