They Were Slaves in Gaza – Lessons from Exodus

Israel’s hostages were tortured by Hamas and slaves to Gazan families. Some Righteous Gazans may have protected some hostages from further harm. Hamas murdered Gazans suspected of cooperating with Israel. Are any “innocent” Gazans left? Exodus 12:12 tells us what happened the last time Israelites were slaves in an Arab land. Is that Divine justice an Israeli option today?

Gazans chose not to make Gaza a peaceful and prosperous Judenrein Ministate on the Med and instead to create a tunnel-fortified terrorist enclave designed to kill Israelis and to eliminate the Jewish State. Biden and the EU sought an impossible Oslo “Two-State Solution” and ignored the real problem: preventing Israel’s adjacent Arab populations from killing Israelis. The status quo or two-states would mean successive terrorist attacks against Israelis. Removing Jews from Judea and Samaria will not work. Resettling third or fourth generation Palestinians will.

Post-Exodus Arab hospitality is legendary, except for third or fourth generation Palestinian “refugees” living in 58 UNRWA camps in the Middle East who are there “temporarily forever,” an accurate term coined by Dr. Mordechai Kadar. The false “refugee” victim status of those Palestinians allows the PA and Hamas to extort the world while advocating ethnically cleansing Israel of Jews. The world would shrug as it did during the Holocaust. The PA’s and Hamas’s message is the same: “We plan to eliminate the State of Israel and establish a purely Palestinian state. We will make life unbearable for the Jews….They will have no choice but to leave.”

The Hamas 10-7 terror was clear: “[T]he Nazis and most other genocidaires and war criminals of the past were anxious to leave no documentary evidence of their crimes, Hamas gloated about it online, often posting to the victims’ social media pages so … their relatives and friends would be traumatized.” The Trump solution of moving Gazans far away from Israel solves the problem, avoids the Exodus option, and can work for Palestinians in Judea and Samaria who wish to leave.

Lefty Jews scream the Trump solution is ethnic cleansing: “Gazans themselves identify as refugees, and relocating refugees from a war zone is not ethnic cleansing, in fact it’s legal to forcibly remove civilians from war zones for their own safety. . . . This is not about ethnicity, but safety. The overwhelming majority of Gazans have supported genocidal violence against Jews for decades. Yet for many who claim ‘ethnic cleansing,’ it is in fact about ethnicity—Jewish ethnicity.”

Like the ancestors of Jews who object to resettlement, the ancestors of most Jews had to leave their ancestral homes or were killed in pogroms or the Holocaust. Dissembling Gazans screamed they hated Sinwar when they welcomed the IDF; some of the same Gazans probably cursed and mobbed the hostages on their Gaza exit. Those objecting offer no other solution. Israeli residency or citizenship for the relatively few Righteous West Bankers and Righteous Gazans could help.

Before there is any “solution,” Israel must continue with the “deal” that “experts” say is “bad” and to which Israel had no choice but to agree. Biden funded $2.1+ billion to Hamas and $44 million to the non-spontaneous “judicial reform” protests that were orchestrated to topple BiBi. Those protests green-lighted Hamas on 10-7. Biden imposed a 15-month tight leash on Israel’s response that prolonged the conflict and killed more Israelis. Biden got this hostage “deal” done on his watch due to the Trump/Witkoff compromises that made a “bad” deal inevitable.

This bargain is extortion by another name. What would Biden have done after 10-7 if the hostages were American WNBA players and not American, Israeli and other Jews and Thai nationals? Hamas still holds stolen Israelis for ransom payable in “humanitarian aid” aka Hamas cash, plus Israel freeing 2,000+ murderers, rapists and other terrorists. Are the lefty Jews okay with that?

Israelis and Jews worldwide must learn from this “deal”: Arm weapons-trained law-abiding citizens; Defense can prevent wars; Offense wins wars; Sue and disband the NGOs such as UNRWA that held three female hostages; Beware internal and external traitors; Persuade Russia and China that Iran support will backfire if Iran has nukes; Prepare for subterranean warfare and drone attacks; Be more self-sufficient in arms production; and decide how best to deny the enemy the ransom they need. If terrorist-killers and rapists were dead, the terrorists would have to bargain for something else. Would death penalty objections disappear if there is absolutely no doubt of a terrorist’s guilt?

The anti-Israel Biden crowd lost the 2024 US election. The spotlight on Palestinians being “victims” shifted to Hamas’s atrocities and to Hamas’s sponsors: Iran and its nuclear program; Qatar and its financing the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, and US universities and politicians; Houthis and their interference in global shipping; Egypt and Jordan and missiles and munitions smuggled from there to Hamas and the PA; Syria and Lebanon and their support for Hezb’Allah; every Arab country’s refusal to accept Palestinians; and the antisemitic cancer exemplified by Arab-Australian nurses proudly announcing they will kill any Israeli patient.

Hamas are today’s Nazis whose Pallywood hostage releases illustrate their dehumanization of Jews and others who dare live between the River and the Sea. The theatre of the Hamas absurd exploits Israeli “pain” of not knowing which hostages are alive, their condition, who will be released, or if any birthed a child now being raised as an Islamic terrorist. Hamas killers sporting stolen IDF uniforms tell us that Hamas was successful in making Jews victims again. When the war resumes, those IDF uniform-clad terrorists will massacre Gazans and blame the IDF.

President Trump demanded that all hostages be released by Saturday at noon. Hamas did not comply. President Trump said what’s next is up to Israel, and America will support Israel’s decision. All Hell will not break out until all living hostages are rescued or released. By then, Hamas’s ranks will have expanded with released terrorists. Hamas will press on with its Super Bowl racist buddy and his ilk. As the end nears, Hamas bigwigs will bribe their way out of Gaza through Egypt and Hamas leadership outside Gaza will go where they can keep their billions.

Jewish Democrats, especially those in Congress who supported Biden/Harris will never learn the lessons of 10-7 or this hostage “deal”. They include Blinken, Mayorkas, Garland, Yellin, Schumer, Schiff, Raskin, 9 other Jewish Senators, 20 other Jewish House members (including Democrat Jews who voted to withhold military aid to Israel), and countless others who have been called useful idiot “as a Jew” Jews.

Do JDems not understand or care that Israel is in another war for its life? Do they deny that Hamas and the PA both want to own Israel’s land cleansed of Jews? Did they not see IDF reports that “Hebrew phrases found on Hamas fighters killed or captured by the IDF included the Hebrew for “take off your pants” — because the rapes were a part of the violence of the day deliberately planned by the Hamas leadership”? Do they not care because “it” didn’t happen to them or to their loved ones? Will they accept Israel’s post-war elimination of the murderers and rapists Israel had to release? Will they object if Iran’s regime or nuclear sites are eliminated?

The story of the Exodus was long ago, a story we remember each year at Passover. Israel either wins this war or it ceases to exist. Today, there are no other options.
