Thinking about life

Used to be, that life was so predictable.

You had a job, ate, went to sleep, woke up, and so on.

Markets were stable. People were sociable. And agreeable. Everything was what it was.

You could trust in the stability of things. You could relax, and just be alive.

Then, everything changed. The world shook itself, up and down. Right and left became entrenched. Suddenly, life seemed so unsure. Scary.

So now, with life not what it used to be, people search for stability. Meaning.

Suddenly, our eyes open to new possibilities.

And we think about life, what it’s for.

Suddenly, we wake up to the new reality. Namely, that life isn’t what we always thought it was.

The world is waking up. Searching for what life really is.

Do a mitzvah — a good deed. Say a prayer – a few psalms. Study Torah. Yearn for Redemption with Moshiach.

And suddenly, life takes on more meaning.
