Three Words of Magic and Love

Family Day seeks to allow us to enjoy a break between New Year’s and Passover while emphasizing the importance of family life. A magical story for Family Day …

“Stop annoying me!”

“Its mine!”

“No, it’s mine!”

“Aya, stop it.” sounds of quarrels were heard in Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

“Have you heard about the three magic words?” Grandpa asked his grandchildren

“In a moment, wait, one second?” Replied one of the grandchildren with humor

“Right now, wait, second?”

“I mean Thank You, Please, Sorry

“But Grandpa, why are they magic words?” Asked the little one,

“Come sit beside me and I’ll tell you a story. Once upon a time I borrowed a book from a classmate and I told her thank you, she was very happy, it made me feel better, as if I were actually thanking myself,

Another case was during the brake bell ring when a classmate rushed out and her bag gave me a painful blow, so she asked for forgiveness saying sorry and smiled at me and then I smiled and felt the pain passed,

Then on her birthday I waited outside her house with a flower, I handed it to her and I said please and she immediately blushed,”

“But where is the magic here?” They asked and giggled,

“My dear classmate is your grandmother, and the magic is that we are here spending time together,” replied Grandfather,

“What a beautiful story Grandpa,” said the grandchildren,

Just then Granny appeared with a tray of sorts of treats and said, “Please, my loved ones, enjoy!”

“Thank you, Granny,” cried the grandchildren, and hurried to give a hug both to Grandpa and Grandma

The message: As human beings, we all want to feel appreciated, loved and respected. When we treat people around us in a polite and dignified way, they feel it and it makes them and us feel better about ourselves. However, it is important to remember that no matter how much we talk or be educated about values, the magic gate of the Spirit only opens when you really love and intend, and that’s exactly why Grandma was invented – סבתא
