Thursday

Everyone wonders what will happen Thursday.

Iran has indicated that it can delay its revenge attack, to see if ceasefire talks on Thursday are successful.

Perhaps this is just an excuse for Iran, to avoid getting clobbered by an Israeli (and possibly American) counterattack.

Biden is pressuring Israel to accept a ceasefire deal. But Netanyahu knows that if he agrees to withdraw from Gaza before destroying Hamas, that Smotrich and Ben Gvir will probably leave his coalition.

Hamas wants a permanent ceasefire, which presumably Netanyahu won’t agree to. Netanyahu wants to keep fighting until Hamas is destroyed, which Hamas presumably doesn’t want.

The way it looks, Thursday will probably not produce a ceasefire, and Iran will have to find a different excuse for not attacking.

Israel seems intent on its goal to eradicate Hamas, despite world pressure.

Perhaps the time of Redemption with Moshiach is very close, a time when the nations will acknowledge G-d and appreciate how His chosen people are bringing light and teaching morality to the world.
