Dear American Orthodox Jews,

Most of you will vote for Trump this November just as you did in 2016 and even more so in 2020.

Before you do you should consider these pertinent facts:

After the Charlottesville marches, Trump stated that there were “very fine people on both sides”. The White Supremacists had a night march with torches and signs proclaiming Jews will not replace us.
Two powerful and prominent Trump supporters, Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson, have supported the Great Replacement Theory. This is the theory that the Charlottesville white supremacists adhere to. This theory states that Jews are masterminding a plan to overwhelm America with hordes of non-white immigrants who will take over and rule.
Trump had a Mar-a-Lago dinner meeting with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes who are both dedicated antisemites.
Deborah Lipstadt, the current Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, with the rank of Ambassador, stated in her book “Antisemitism: Here and Now” that Donald Trump is an enabler of antisemitism.
Several Republican House of Representatives members have shared platforms with white supremacists.
Trump told the Proud Boys, a racist antisemitic organization to “Stand by” at a presidential debate.
Trump openly aligns himself with Christian nationalists who want to Christianize America.
Trump has gained the total support of white supremacists, Nazis, the KKK, and other racist and antisemitic groups. They understand his racism better than you do.
Trump stated that American Jews who vote Democratic need their head examined. This comes from a man profoundly ignorant of Judaism as he is of most issues. The statement is also antisemitic. Trump stated that Jews who vote Democratic “hate Israel” and hate “their religion”. The statement is antisemitic. He also said, “Any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty”.
The FBI statistics show that over 70% of politically motivated hate crimes were from people who identify with the Right. Most tragic for Jews was the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre in which a right-wing racist murdered eleven Jews.
Trump encourages racism in his white supporters. Among his supporters those who hate blacks probably hate Jews, those who hate Mexicans probably hate Jews, and those who hate Muslims probably hate Jews.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican House representative and a favorite of Trump stated in 2018 that California wildfires were caused by ‘space solar generators’ which were funded by powerful, mysterious backers implying Jews were behind it.
The Right loves to attack George Soros. He is by no means the only left-leaning billionaire, but he is Jewish and foreign-born so he makes an easy target.
Trump and many Republican leaders adulate and adore Victor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary. Victor Orban is the most racist and antisemitic leader in Europe today.
At a White House Hanukkah party in 2018, Trump said Vice President Mike Pence and second lady Karen Pence go to Israel “and they love your country. They love your country. And they love this country” — the implication being that “this country” is distinct from “your country”.
In a September 2020 call after Rosh Hashanah, Trump told American Jewish leaders, “We really appreciate you; we love your country also.”
Trump had a long-term grudge against Netanyahu because the latter had promptly called Biden to congratulate him on being elected.
Later in the campaign, Trump tweeted an image of Hillary Clinton surrounded by money with the words “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” inside a six-pointed star, the shape of the Star of David. Trump also ran an ad featuring several prominent Jews — George Soros, Janet L. Yellen, and Lloyd Blankfein — while warning of “global special interests.”
During a 2019 speech to the Israeli American Council, Trump told those assembled: “A lot of you are in the real estate business because I know you very well. You’re brutal killers. Not nice people at all. But you have to vote for me; you have no choice.”
Hate crimes increased during Trump’s presidency.
You are supporting a man who flagrantly violates the most basic tenets of Jewish morality as expounded in the Torah, Talmud, and rabbinical writings. These tenets include personal honesty, business honesty, modest marital relations, abhorrence of adultery, and refraining from lashon-hara (bad-mouthing people). You are supporting a man utterly bereft of ethical probity.

Kamala Harris will be a firm supporter of Israel and a stern opponent of antisemitism. That cannot be said of mendacious, racist, and increasingly erratic Donald Trump.
