The Winning Edge

This coming Monday, June 18th, there will be a one-day executive business conference designed for entrepreneurs and business owners small and large alike. The conference will undoubtedly give a tremendous level of insight to those in attendance about how to navigate the sometimes unsteady waters that operating a business might present.
The roster of speakers is filled with individuals who are leaders in their respective industries; and key business celebrities are certainly among them. The list includes chairman of the C-Suite Network and former CMO of Kodak Jeffrey Hayzlett, world class public speaker and thought leader Stephen Shapiro and US Head of Retail Business Banking for HSBC Michael Macintyre, just to name a few. The complete roster of speakers come from versatile backgrounds; offering attendees the opportunity to glean specific insights that will tailor to their specific needs and desires.
To members of the Orthodox Jewish community, I ask you to take particular notice of this unrivaled event that is quickly approaching. Rare in recent memory, can I think of an all-day business conference and an event of this incredible scale that is being designed and produced to ensure accommodations are made for the community’s religious observance and preferences. For that, Yitzchok Saftlas as a member of the community and the behind the scenes maven of this event deserves all the accolades he can get. The same of course holds true for his partner in this venture, Saul Friedman.
Beyond just deliberately being scheduled on a weekday and not on a Shaboss or a Yom Tov, the food served at the conference will be glatt kosher. As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be separate seating available to those that desire such a preference.
As someone who proudly considers himself a member of the community, I cannot even count on two hands the number of times I’ve found myself in agreement with my professional colleagues that the existence of such events are all too rare.
For this the community owes a debt of gratitude to Yitzchok Saftlas and the folks at Bottom Line Marketing Group for producing the event; and to Saul Friedman for presenting the event.
To all you out there who are considering attending; but have yet to make a final decision either way. My message to you is:
Attend.
Take advantage of this opportunity; and make sure to engage with the speakers.
Don’t let the opportunity slip away…Be there to experience it!
We look forward to seeing you there; and to personally greeting you all with open arms.
