Transwomen (MTF) are not stronger than cis-women

Let’s restrict our discussion to the facts

The sentiments are: Transwomen (male to female) trespass on the female turf vs. Trans Excluding Radical Feminists (TERFs) are just homophobic.

For starters, let’s be clear that the playing field is not equal. It’s still very tough to be Trans. Bigots target Trans people because, like sharks, when they smell blood, they go wild. Bullies love weak people for attacking.

I know that people don’t want to be confused with the facts, but Imane Khelif is the first ever non-regular woman to win an Olympic medal.

It’s also very easy when you lose to a Trans or Intersex athlete to scream ‘unfair’ and blame your loss on that—easy but unjust. Why?

The Olympics don’t discriminate! It’s just senseless trying to find out who has which sex chromosomes, sex hormone levels, sex organs, and sex history. Black people are not disqualified because they dance and run better. Slim people are not disqualified because they swim or dive better. Exorbitantly tall people are not excluded from competing in basketball.

The whole idea of Greek sports is that only the best wins. That’s stupid (as I recently argued), but not unfair. If you don’t like losing, don’t play sports.

In a Transwoman, puberty testosterone makes the bones and muscles larger, but then, the suppression of testosterone makes the muscles weaker, leaving you larger with smaller muscles, which is a disadvantage!

For all clarity, Imane Khelif is not a Transwoman. Rather, she grew up a girl and started sporting at the age of six. Initially, her father did not allow her to participate in boxing because he disapproved of the sport for girls.

On medical analysis, it was found that she was genetically a male but her body was insensitive to testosterone, so she developed as a girl. Her body does make high testosterone, but to no avail. Imagine how traumatic it is if you grow up a girl, feel a girl, and then you’re told you’re a man in hiding. These people have a feminine muscle mass distribution and are in danger of muscular atrophy. So, their XY genes don’t give them strength at all.

This is nothing marginal. This bigotry is gaining a lot of steam.

Next time, you hear someone fulminate against Trans athletes, remember they are either uninformed, wrongly informed, or plain bigoted.
